Kampong Dedaun — Restaurant in Bangka-Belitung Islands

We ended up at Kampong Dedaun Resto just ‘cause it’s right next to our hotel. Didn’t expect anything, but the food slapped hard. Stayed 3 nights in Belitung, had dinner here 3 times straight. That’s how good it was.

First night we got fried kerisi fish? straight up fire. Second night we were too tired to go out, so we ordered delivery to the hotel: grilled snapper, squid Padang sauce, and kangkung stir-fry. The squid was super fresh, and the kangkung? Still green, crunchy, perfect. Third night, we just repeated kerisi fish + kangkung (couldn’t resist), added grilled squid and spicy kerang balado.

Drinks? Iced jeruk kunci. So refreshing, chef’s kiss 👌

I was really impressed with this restaurant. From the very first day I arrived in Belitung, I had breakfast at “Kampong Dedaun,” enjoying the cozy atmosphere and private beach. The food was, of course, super delicious with generous portions. At first, I thought with food that tasty and plentiful, it would cost a lot, but it turned out to be quite affordable. Since then, throughout my vacation in Belitung, I always wanted to have lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Besides being close to my hotel, the service was also excellent. Located right next to Hotel Santika. Attended a wedding here and it was perfect. the restaurant’s premises were expansive and right next to the beach with a beautiful sunset setting. vibes were very rustic. A perfect venue if you’re looking for a beach/ garden wedding vibe!

Food was good too! wedding catered mains from the restaurant and engaged external vendors to serve appetisers/ snacks / drinks.
