RM NELAYAN SEAFOOD BELITONG. — Restaurant in Bangka-Belitung Islands

First time here at Belitung Island actually.. Overall, I would say nice place, great food..!

Parking lot is large, several busses could fit here actually.

Ambience is semi-outdoor, with stage for live music. Seatings are enough for around 100pax, with 2 tables for charging phones (each hv 4 electric outlets).

Menu consist of various fishes (ayam-ayam, ilak, pari, kakaktua, tenggiri, etc). crabs, lobster, shrimp and calamari is also available.

Here's what we ordered by the time this review is made: Ikan Ilak Bakar (grilled ilak fish), ikan ayam-ayam bakar (grilled ayam-ayam fish), cumi krispy original (original fried calamary), cah kangkung tausi (sauted kale), 6 drinks & rice Total price is around idr 550k, enough for 6 pax.

Fishes are grilled with red sauce, sweet but not spicy, mixed well with its sambel kecap (sweet soy sauce with chilli cutlet). tastes great..! fishes are juicy, and well flavored. Calamari is good, floured well, and crispy. Sauteed kale is great. crunchy, with flavorful sauce

I'd come here again to try other fishes...

Some notes during our visit : The place is big with lots of parking lots All of their staffs were really friendly, helpful with quick served Their food were soo tasty & fresh. The fish meat was really tender. Our fave is fish/crab/prawn cooked with saus padang, saus tiram & tumis kangkung terasi, very delicious ! Better come in the morning/noon, because they still have lots of food choices. The restaurant is big and have large parking lot. They place the seafood on the left side, so you can see or choose the seafood that you want. If you come to this restaurant, you must try the Gonggong (snail), Seafood and the Tomyum Soup. The price is a bit pricey, but overall it's okay. They provide a karaoke service if you...
