Mie Ayam Pak Sutarno Serba 5000 — Restaurant in Bantul Regency

Location: Visited on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (two days after Eid) at 12:30 PM by motorcycle. Parked at the alley entrance, right in front of the shop. There's also parking in front of the neighboring house. The shop is tucked away in a village alley, which means it’s shaded from the heat of the main road. Not sure if a car can fit all the way in.

Atmosphere: Most of the seating is floor seating (lesehan) at the front, side, and inside the shop, but I chose a stool seat at the back of the house. No fan in that area, but it wasn’t too hot even at noon, so it was still comfortable. The dine-in crowd mostly consisted of small families and groups of school kids.

Order:

2x Mie Ayam Bakso Luber (Rp 10,000 each)

3x Iced Tea (Rp 2,000 each)

You can take as many meatballs as you want—the only limit is the size of your bowl. If you're smart about stacking them, you can get a satisfying portion. There were 10 orders ahead of us, but the wait was reasonable, around 15 minutes.

If you want more chicken topping, go for the Mie Ayam Jumbo (Rp 8,000). For drinks, I’d also recommend trying the iced orange juice (Rp 3,000).

Taste: The noodles and chicken were good for the price—savory and slightly sweet. For my Jogja tongue, I needed to add a bit more soy sauce. The chili sauce is served separately, but you need to use a lot for a proper kick. The portion of chicken and green onions was standard—not too generous, but not lacking either.

The meatballs were just okay, more like siomay in taste. The real win here is the quantity. I haven’t compared them to the ones in other menu items, so I’m not sure if they use the same type. But if you're ordering this dish, definitely take advantage and grab as many meatballs as you can to make it worth it. We took around 15-20 per bowl.

Come here because the price is extremely lower than another chicken noodle in the area and it were getting viral on social media but the taste is not dissapointing especially the chicken seasoning. Because of its viralness, it's easily getting crowded on lunch hour and the waiting time is...

Warung mie ayam yang lumayan viral ketika ulasan ini ditulis, letaknya ditengah-tengah perkampungan, lumayan jauh kalo berangkat dari kota jogja, pas sampe lokasi lumayan kaget ternyata serame itu di lokasi, semua meja terisi dan harus berbagi meja dengan pengunjung lain, untungnya pelayanannya baik, meja yang kotor langsung dibersihkan begitu konsumen keluar, dan cukup mengejutkan ternyata ga perlu nunggu lama hingga makanan datang

Oke, untuk mie nya sendiri secara keseluruhan cukup enak, aku nyobain kuahnya dulu, kuahnya asin aja sih tapi setelah diaduk toping ayamnya jadi lebih terasa komplit rasanya, bisa dibilang kunci citarasanya ada di toping ayamnya, kalau ditambah minyak ayam atau minyak bawang pasti lebih enak kalo menurutku, agak disayangkan aja banyak ranjau tulang di toping ayamnya

Overall, masih sangat layak dicoba apalagi kalo liat harganya...
