Excelso Café — Restaurant in Batam City

Perfect in every way, the venue is good day or night (outdoors and indoors), service staff are very very personable which lightens the heart.

Focus here is on coffee and drinks, I'd say that the food here takes a backseat here: Mostly entrees/entree sized , snacks and salads.

That being said the salad is delish, the thousand island dressing does not not seem to be out of the bottle.

There is a gym upstairs sharing space with the cafe so it does get a bit loud if you decide to sit on the 1st level. Honestly just leave it for the gym users.

Downstairs is where the fun is at, indoor seating is spacious and not cramped. Outdoor seats are just as non-claustrophobic, with a nice projector screen showing music videos and maybe for night shows?

There is even a prayer room at the back for our Muslim friends; so best to keep it family...

I like its interior design, all menu are western (or better called western presentation with local ingredients). wat I like the most is this place is connected to prayer room and integrated with petrol station. best place to hang out and spending some time before u go to sekupang ferry terminal (around 15 minutes to go there from excelso)

price is so so lah ya.. quite expensive for the meal (taste so so and not really a big portion) beverage prices same as meal

The interior is done with black steel elements combine with brown wooden furnitures and pastel-colored fabric cushion. Combined with high ceiling and spacious area creates cozy feeling, very suitable for meeting customer or hanging-out with friends.
