The food's OK. Not too pricey and it's a great spot to bring family for lunch/dinner.
Theme for the food is Sundanese altho you might find a couple of other dishes in the menu. Fried and grilled fish are great and they go really well with the nasi jambal (Rice that is cooked with some herbs, anchovy, and petay) Totally recommend the "Es Kelapa Glodok" - awesome refreshment.
Ambience is ok. They're your typical modern sundanese restaurant. Semi open building with very high ceiling - ventilation is definitely not a problem. But it might get a bit warm during a hot day. It has a kiddy playground which is suitable for kids aging from 4++ (please don't leave your kids unsupervised). They also offer "lesehan" seating area (where you can sit down on the floor with your legs crossed; yes, low table height)
Parking space is quite spacious and is managed quite. The fare is IDR 2,000 per hour with max. fare IDR 5,000. A tip on rainy season, it's without canopy - definitely prepare your umbrella if you think it's gonna rain.
In conclusion, I'd definitely recommend it if you want to find good Sundanese food in the area. The only downside is that the traffic can be a real pain...
Read moreThe first time i went to this resto with a really good first impression to the building and ambience. It's such a big venue and comfy. However, i saw the detail pool and some spot (musala, parking area, some lesehan area, etc) is seems abandoned. Looking at the building seems this resto has a big potential to do better service lah. The owner/management should make some marketing activation & events, make some enhancements to make this resto up again.
Food: Overall i like all menu i've ordered, Nasi Jambal + Ikan Balita will be my fav definitely. Banana fritter also good. Ice lemon tea hmmm i would say it's poor, i don't taste any lemon but lime.
The price indeed a little bit higher than the other Sundanese resto but i say it's worth it, the food is clean and tasty.
C'mon Leuit Ageung, you can do better...
Read moreI visited this restaurant yesterday for iftar, they seemed to be short on staff that it was so long to wait for our menu to be ordered. Once I saw our food coming, I thought they will give it to us, but they only put it far from my table and left just like that, when I asked the staff why did not they just give it to us directly they said, "oh iya," what an undignified answer. Also, the food we were ordering was not complete and has to wait for another hour. I felt so hungry since it was iftar time, even the rice was not served asap. I only ate corn crackers without rice, and found a stapler inside the corn cracker, thank god I did not swallow it. Anyway, I only felt bad and horrible experience here. Will not go here for any...
