Cafe Bawor Jaya Nagara — Restaurant in Caringin

After mini-trekking to Curug Cikaracak, we went to Cafe Bawor Jaya Nagara. We picked this because it got 4,8 score on google review, and had durian. But when we arrived, no durian, because not yet ripe and there was alumni reunion there so limited seat available.

I ordered Timbel Ayam Goreng Nasi (37k) and Wedang Uwuh Hangat (15k), not include PPH 10%. The resto provide EDC and QRis but the signal was poor, u can used their wifi but only strong in cashier area. The staff polite enough but not fast to serve. The taste just so-so, the rice was hard, the chicken not warm or hot, and the food took quite a while to come. The Wedang Uwuh is warm, and server fast.

This is the nice place for gathering, but not...

Eating durian in the amongst the durian trees and be able to book the durian ahead is really the best experience so far.

We came a month early from their big harvest season, so we have limited choice of Durian available.

Before you come, pleaso contact the cafe directly and ask first on what is available. They are very helpful.

One more tip. If you come from jakarta, best road to enter the cafe area is exit the cikeretek road, take a right and probably less than a km you turn left and follow the road (after cikeretek...

Driving 30min from Bogor baranangsiang via tol Bocimi, out exit Caringin. Dining table below durian trees, with plastic cover all the gardens avoiding raining. They provide light and heavy meal as well, with reasonable price. The durian bawor with price rp.170.000/kg. But after open, if it has several seed failed, they promise will give disc. Just 1 think, it has so many flyes flying, especially coz the staff not clean the finished table promptly. Overall it is nice time...
