I visited the place recommended by a friend. The scenery along the drive is already a calming mind. Greeted well by two receptions. Sat down by the window we are already relaxed. The server came fast to us and brought the menu. Quite an impressive selection of food and beverages. So we started ordering.. One dish at a time. We wanted to take our time. They recommended me the special mocktail, some fizzy carrots and orange and my partner orderen simple lychee ice tea. Ordered tahu lada garam and beef sliders both food is a bit disappointing..the patty taste a bit old, But the drink was superb. Perfect.. Then we decided to order the fish taco, again some cocktail sauce on top..ruining the nice Guacamole. Another disappointment. So we again ordered the roasted pumpkin. Nicely presented.. Pumpkin perfectly roasted, good labneh dressing.. But the cocktail sauce underneath confused our palate.. Why??.. The simple perfect dish becomes fusion confusion.. Plus it didn't come as the menu describes. In between i ordered an americano and sunrise drink.. Both came perfectly.. Can't say the same with the food. Then i decided to order simple spaghetti aglio olio.. I asked not to put the truffle oil (i don't know why it should add truffle oil in the first place) the pasta was undercooked but soggy. Seems they pre-cooked it and cool it with cold water.. . The Manager Ms. Iput (hopefully I spelled it correctly) approached us and nicely helped us with a few inquiries and i already mentioned about the slider. My advice to the chef.. Don't try too hard.. Stick to good quality basic cookery... Don't ruin classic food by adding truffle oil or such.. Keep it simple. In the years of culinary journey it has proven classic simple dishes done right will win customers stomachs and palate.. Because they last forever. Less is more. Just like the drinks.. Simple but perfect👍. And the prices were just right.. Thank you team Cerita Kita. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family. Just please...

Read moreI came on Sunday 5 AM, there's no place left and I have to wait for 35 numbers. And the numbers represent groups not person, and the group could consist of up to 10 persons, sometimes more. So I just did a walking inside the cafe and it was beutiful, with garden and several rised rooms to see the sunset around 3 mountains. I have to manage to get back here. Really! Finally I could make it to here on the middle of the week. The service was good but several staffs were still too stiff to serve and to inform rules during this cafe. Yes many rules you have to follow here, but it's okay. We ordered unsual traditional food, i.e. Salmon masak lodeh and salted egg oxtail soup. The salmon masak lodeh was good for fish lover, but it's still had fishy smell even the salmon is grilled before mixed to the sayur lodeh. The salted egg oxtail soup, was not very match us, we got fried oxtàil covered with salted egg and a dark soup pot, the taste is like rawon, a traditional dark soup. Not quite match, but when we ate thenfried oxtail just with the green chillinpastw, it tasted delicious, also the local bacon squash soup made from labu. The dessert baked pineaplle was awesome, so were the wedang Nusantara and Anget Sari. We conclude that the chef is bold enough to mix match local ingredients. They taste good but not familiar. We hadn't try the western and pasta menu. Hope we had cajnce...
