Omah Carkonah — Restaurant in Central Java

If you went to Pekalongan and wanted to try local food but don't want the hassle of finding it and you wanted to eat in a quaint eclectic place, this is the place to go! All the food here was seriously tasty! But, it's toward the spicy side of the palate. Only a few options available for non spicy food, fried chicken, steamed tofu, and sour veggies soup, those were also delicious.. They have a buffet system, so you take the food you want by yourself, remember to finish what you have chosen. They also sold local lemonade, called Limun Oriental, you've got to try this, one of a kind. The house was an old Dutch house, that has been refurbished to become a resto, bit they didn't change it much and they include mostly antique furnitures so you can still get the Indies...

Good service and ambience, the staff are super friendly and always smile, the food is great but it seems the price bit too expensive, I take 1 small pcs of rendang, krecek and otot (3cm x 3cm) just for a taste and it's cost me the full price of 45,000 rupiah ! My only suggestion is perhaps remind the customer no matter how small the portion of the food is they need to pay...

Mumpung libur ngenturit tekan Sragi. Nyacak spot kuliner anyar sing ala ala vintage.

Arane Omah Carkonah. Lokasine nang omah dinas PG Sragi. Tempate ombo tur nyaman. Penak nggo santai bareng keluarga. Ono ruang pertemuan full AC juga nang jerone. Orak nyongko, omah kuno tapi isine lengkap.

Panganane juga enak slur. Mimin nyacak sego megono towel garang asem karo sego campur bandeng acar.

Sego campure tak kei iwak asap suwir, enak slur bumbune mresep. Ono klopo sangraine. Ndok puyuhe ono campuran pete. Petene gedi gedi krenyes.

Bandeng acare ora amis. Mresep tapi ora amprol. Garang aseme seger. Daginge nglonyomi. Bumbune lengkap, roso aseme seko blimbing wuluh. Sedep. Iki garang asem wetanan yo gaes, isine ayam, dudu garang asem daging kuah tauco. 🤣

Mimike es gula asem karo limun oriental. Wah es gula asem rekomen slur.

Regane juga standar. Sego megono towel dibawah 20k. Teh gratis. Menune jare ganti ganti ben orak bosen.
