Sate "Pak Kempleng" — Restaurant in Central Java

This place specialises in beef products. They only have 4 kinds of beef menus: satay, sup iga (ribs clear soup), beef gulai (spicy soup with coconut milk and herbs). Although there's one out of the box menu; chicken satay, for the cow lovers.

The satay offers a "challenging" selection; lean meat, lungs, fats, cow's stomach, and intestines (locals love the intestines, usually sold out at lunch time). They serve the satay without any sauce, you will be served a selection of grounded peanut sauce or sweet soy sauce and plus sliced chilli paddy and onion toppings. Even without any sauce, the satay itself is tasty because already seasoned with special ingredients.

The clear soup is also very good, the meat is tender and the spice is well balanced, with just the right amount.

Try the lontong, some kind of rice cake, usually locals eat it as substitution of rice. This is also tasty, a hint of savoury is detected. I think they cook it with special broth for hours.

Tempatnya dekat dengan Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah, berkunjung saat makan siang selepas audiensi di BBJT. Tempatnya bersih, parkiran luas pelayanan cepat. Tidak tahu kalau porsinya banyak😀 saya kira seperti porsi balibul, kita ber 5 pesan masing-masing seporsi ternyata hanya mampu menghabiskan 3, 5 porsi yg belum kami makan dibungkus. Pilihan sate komplit dari ayam, kambing dan sapi Gule dan tongseng juga tersedia untuk daging sapi atau kambing Suasana tempat makan asyik bisa menatap gunung Ungaran dengan jelas Tempat nya juga tidak jauh dari exit tol Ungaran Untuk harga sesuai dengan kualitas karena dagingnya empuk enak kami ber 5...

Baru coba pertama kali, biasanya makan sate kempleng yg di kota atas Tapi ternyata masakannya enak, satenya empuk potongan besar, daging terasa bumbu manisnya juga sambel kacang nya pas Irisan cabe rawit dan bawang merah jg sesuai takaran Recomended👍 Tidak tahu ambience tempat makannya karena pesan via online Salut untuk kurir yg sdh jauh mengantar dan sampai masih dlm kondisi hangat Sukses selalu buat...
