Went there last week with my cousins, after we were seated they ask directlu what food we want to order (the soup, pecel or another one that I forgot) and what we drink do we want, not long after we order the food came flying which to my surprise was really fast. After the firsr sip of the soup that I order, the soup was really tasty, it was warming us from the cold weather of Tawangmangu, it was well balanced. Even my brother order another serving of the soup and rice not once but twice. We were satistifed. Read moreI would say Bu Ugi served the best sop buntut (ox tail soup) to my palate. It was clear looking and fresh tasting. The meat was tender and light, not meaty (I prefer light meat taste). The vegetables were just right as well. Add a squeeze or two of the lime and it's perfect. For the pecel Madiun style (Indonesian salad with peanut sauce), I would say it was okay-good. The veggies were fresh and the sauce was tasty. About the service, unfortunately, it was very minimum per restaurant standard. They could have been more interactive.
