Soto Sapi Khas Wonosobo EDS — Restaurant in Central Java

My first review on Soto Sapi EDS, albeit me and my family reguler visit to restaurant to indulge ourselves with their famous beef soup and fish meat ball soup.

The beef soup comes with a thick sweet beef broth and rice cake, while their fish meat ball soup are rather savoury one.

For the beef soup, i would recommend adding extra lime and a bit their home made chilly sauce, to make it succulent.

A must have visited restaurant if you're in Wonosobo.. the menu is just fit with Wonosobo' almost veryday...

Great soto! The taste is a bit sweeter than Semarang or Solo style soto, but not too sweet. It is also a bit salty/savory. It uses cubed beef cuts that are quite tender and bean sprouts. The soto in Wonosobo is accompanied by servings of tempe kemul, which is tempe with thin, crepe-like batter around it (which to me tasted of chives and a bit of kencur), fried until crisp.

I didn't expect the soto to taste sweet, but I did finish mine. The beef was very tender. The portion was decent. You could also add toppings like tempe kemul or other gorengan.

The place was very clean, but it had no AC inside. Service was okay. Street parking space was limited for cars.

The price was affordable, spent IDR 60k for 2 pax. QRIS payment...
