KALOKA Resto & Cafe — Restaurant in Central Sulawesi

We have been at Kaloka two nights out of two during our stay at Banggai Laut - this place is a true gem and undoubtedly the best place in the whole island 😍 The location on the hill is just perfect with a 180* view, go at sunset if you can to enjoy to the fullest ☀️ The couple owning the place (a French guy and his Indonesian wife) are truly wonderful and kind people that put a lot of love in everything they do, from growing their own ingredients to sustainably preparing and serving their delicious food. We can absolutely recommend the beef rendang (crazily tender and outstanding), the beef teriyaki and the pancakes with homemade ice cream! 🇮🇩 If you go to Banggai you cannot miss visiting this place! It was a really nice to found this cafe. It's clean and they're very friendly. The view is super nice you can see the 180° of the Seaview from the dining area. The desserts are the most list you need to try. The main dishes were yummy. Our favorite was chicken, beef rendang, teriyaki, soup and nasi goreng. All of their foods are home made. Recommended by our friends we made our way to Kaloka for dinner while in Banggai recently. A lovely setting perched on the hill , with epic views to take in the sunset over the sea. Started with Mojito, spicy chicken wings, delicious tender beef rendang and home made ice cream. Backed up next night with spaghetti and ice cream again(8 flavours) Avacado & mango for me.
