Finally Sambal Bakar Indonesia open in Bogor, to be precise Cibinong.

Typical of Sambal Bakar Indonesia, they have large dining area and large parking space. They offers wide variety of main dish such as chicken, fish, duck, prawn, squid, and jeroan. They also offers variants of stir fry veggies, such as tumis kangkung, tumis jamur, etc. You can also order side dish such as bakwan jagung, tahu & tempe.

They have 3 variants of sambal: Sambal Bakka (sambal tomat): 🌶️ Sambal Barra (sambal bawang): 🌶️🌶️ Sambal Gajja (sambal cabe ijo): 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Since it’s recently open, this restaurant is very crowd, especially during lunch & dinner time. No worry, they have large dining area and spacious parking space. You have to pay in advance before dining. They have 4 line cashier, no worry about the queue.

About facilities, they have musholla and clean toilet. They also have outdoor dining area, but you better avoid outdoor dining area during rainy season.

About the food. We ordered sambak lele, sambak telur barendo, udang ala carte, bakwan jagung, and cah jamur.

Lele size is huge, the same with telur barendo & bakwan jagung. Udang ala carte portion is big as well. The taste also good for me. Very worth the price.

The taste of their sambal also very nice with low spicy level (sambal bakka) & medium spicy level (sambal barra).

Unfortunately cah jamur taste is a bit bitter.

First time having dinner here. Went here for early dinner with my wife. Not many customers at that time. Order thru barcode QR code given by waitress. Waiting quite long to get our foods as per order on the table. And 1 ordered item not coming to the table. After patiently awaiting for about 15min. while all foods we order on the table, 1 missing. After asked waitress to come to my table and check my order, finally they realized that they forgot 1 of my order not come out. The table also run out of spoon & forks, when asked it from waitress just hand over 1 set… so confused why only 1 set, he saw in front of him there were 2 customers awaiting for spoon & fork, damn with his-“poker face” said you need too Sir? Of course I need it, d4mn 🤡. And The “parking-attendants” (2 of them) just awaiting on exit gate to get the money from customer without helping customer driver, park their vehicle.....

Sambak or sambal bakar, in english: charred chilli sauce is the specialty of this restaurant. You can have fried chicken, fried shrimp, fried egg, and some other main courses with the chilli sauce. Your orders were promptly prepared, but they need some amount of time to grill the sauce.

The atmosphere during the day was not special. Rather, it was hot inside the restaurant even though the fans were actively blowing. No air-conditioned rooms are available.
