Sunshine Cafe & Resto — Restaurant in Cibinong

Tried a new café in Cibinong with a Bali-like vibe. The place is nice, spacious, and has two floors. Parking is available but it costs IDR 5,000. Menu options are quite varied, from Indonesian to Western dishes. Honestly, the price feels pretty high for the area. I was a bit surprised.

I only ordered desserts and drinks since I already had a meal. Got the Choco Tiramisu and a donut, plus drinks: Cloudy Pistachio and iced tea. • The donut was okay, though the texture was a bit yeasty, probably over-proofed. • The Choco Tiramisu was a letdown—it was just cream and nuts, no cake or ladyfingers inside. Felt like eating a topping rather than an actual dessert. • The Cloudy Pistachio drink had a weird soapy aftertaste, and the rosemary garnish didn’t match the flavor at all. • The iced tea experience was the most annoying. I asked for plain iced tea, the waiter said yes, but then served their “special tea” with ice cubes. No explanation, nothing. When I complained, the waiter insisted that it was their version of plain iced tea. Honestly, it would’ve been much better if he just said they don’t serve regular iced tea instead of forcing something else.

The café itself has good potential, but the service and food quality really need improvement. With the nice place and a service charge added to the bill, I expected better hospitality. Unfortunately, the waiter’s response about the tea came off as rude rather than polite.

Hopefully they can take this as constructive feedback...

i don't think that I would go back 😆 hehehe the first time went there and approached cashier and asking about my reservation, she just mention to just go upstair and meet the waiter. the seating arrangement is totally different from what I booked. maybe a little missunderstand that it still be ok since she offer another seat that made me choose the first one. getting late and my fetucini carbonara still not coming, my kid getting tantrum waiting his food. the waiter is so nice to ask us that the food not coming yet. I knew that he felt guilty for us. the fetucine, cassava, and red velvet served, but until the year is changing, my satay taichan is not coming yet. we decided to home after celebrate new year, still the satay not coming. and not to mention the doorprize bracellet, I got the doorprize number after I asked them so many times, until 2 waiter comes to my table presented the doorprize bracellet, but after they draw it, so it feel waste even my number don't get called. the whatsapp didn't even respond...

First impressions masuk resto ini... Gerah gak da ruang ber AC padahal kita dateng jam 5an. Juga berisik karena musik yg distel agak annoying sounds nya rada member atau pecah gitu. Tapi yaudahlah dah masuk juga, kita gak bikin reservasi sebelumnya karena emang iseng mau ngabuburit cobain resto sekitar Pakansari. Pilihan kita ke sini karena keliatannya gak terlalu ramai jadi mikirnya gak bakal ada drama pas order makanan menjelang buka puasa. Walau gak bikin reservasi masih banyak table yg kosong, pilih menu hm... Uwow harganya lumayan pricey... Tapi ya gpp kita mikirnya porsi family x nih terus ekspektasi bakalan enak aja semua hehehe. Akhirnya kita pesen 3 porsi maincourse: Menu western: roast chicken, menu nusantara: sop iga, menu oriental: mie goreng. Utk minuman karena bawa bocil mereka selalu suka yg seger seger jadi kita pesen sunset on beach dan passion shine plus 1 air mineral. Alhamdulillah gak pakai lama, datang menu pertama: mie goreng dan bener banget porsi besar, sunset on beach gak banyak porsi nya sesuai dgn di menu gelasnya kira-kira 300ml. Untuk mi goreng rasanya enak banget sesuai ekspektasi kita utk harga 39ribuan di luar T&S sih worthed banget, ada aroma smokey nya dapat acar, emping juga telur mata sapi. Recommended. menu kedua yg datang: sop iga. Kaldunya kental, kentang dan wortel masih crunchy, daging iga nya lembut dan banyak isinya. Dahlah enak banget gak salah deh nyoba ini. Langsung berharap di daerah puncak atau pancawati bogor ada resto yg bisa menyajikan sop iga seenak ini pas cuaca dingin pas banget makan menu ini. Next roast chicken disajikan dgn kentang wedges & salad. Ayamnya besaaaaar kurleb ayam setengah ekor kayaknya deh itu, buat saya dagingnya mungkin gak dimarinasi ya, kurang berasa bumbu cuma dikasih herbs aja x ya, kebantu dgn saus extranya mungkin emang gitu sih rasanya dari saus yg harus disiram/cocok, saladnya enak seger dgn dressing balsamic asam manis, kentang wedges nya juga smokey. Utk sunset on beach bukan termasuk selera saya sih ya, padahal seru ada garam yg di pinggiran permukaan gelas bikin rasanya nano nano hehhee tp minumannya sendiri saya kurang suka. Kalau passion shine masih oke lah seger ada soda dan sirup markisa. Harga sop iga & roast chicken @89rb T&C exclude. Oia syukurnya pas kita makan musik yg awalnya ganggu jadi enak mungkin dah ganti genre atau sounds nya dibenerin entahlah tp enak gak ganggu lagi, terus yg tadinya gerah pun lama lama gak terasa, nyobain main ke outdoor karena ada pasir anak anak bisa main, eh banyak angin, dingin juga bisa liat bintang bintang juga. Overall kita semua happy sih ke sini, next mau duduk duduk santai nyobain menu kopi dan dessertnya. Oia ngomongin dessert anak anak di kasih free eskrim vanilla uwowww tambah tambah deh happynya. Setiap anak di resto itu kebagian lho dan pakai wafel cone juga buka asal 1 scoope eskrim aja. The best lha ya utk service masnya, mbaknya ramah juga, karyawannya banyak jd sat set semuanya cepet disajikan, padahal pengunjungnya ternyata ramai banget pas jam buka puasa karena mereka dah...
