Bukit Air Resto — Restaurant in Ciomas

The restaurant is one of Sundanese style establishment with bamboos dominating the structure. There is fishing pool and a couple of units accommodation for rent as well. Located in a narrow street but I can say that the place does have good village view as it surrounded by paddy fields. Looks great when paddy fields are in green just like a great natural carpet as well as when it's close to harvesting time it looks like gold carpet. Feel the wind blows and whispers to your ears saying love me and just stay here for a while let the time stood still. The restaurant serves Sundanese cuisine with various options. The taste is so-so... The distance from the train station is about a half hour ride by motorcycle well it takes longer if you drive by car, yet the street is narrow out side of the restaurant. It is also an alternative street to go to the water fall up there called Curug Nangka and Curug Luhur. For bicycling oh yes.... It's good to try to go here and pedaling the village if you have...

To get here, the road is bad, and small. The place that called 'saung', was share, only separate by plastic. Surely, not private place for family.

Saung is dark, no open space, except if you take a place near fish pond.

For the food, be honest, not good at all. Ordered oncom uletutug (or something like that), and that not oncom at all. It was cooked with Tempe and there is no oncom taste at all.

Second food is plain kangkung, again, no taste at all.

Third food is Gurame, the fish is not fresh, and overcooked until the fish is drief. Since the fish is not fresh, there is no taste.

Fourth food is patin kejepit, same as the others, me and family doesnt feel the taste.

Fifth food is tempe mendoan and from all food that I ordered, this is the champion.

Came here late April 2023. I like the View, especially the Amani Cafe just beside the "Saung-Saung" of Bukit Air. The cafe is best visit in the evening after 5pm. Before 5 pm, the sun can be quite intimidating as the unique design uses full glass as their wall.

But hanging out there in the evening with a simple complimentary acoustic band is quite nice. It has also second floor, and they provide paddling boat on a pond just right next to the Amani cafe.

Food, the Bukit Air food seems have more options. I ate food from Amani cafe, it wasn't bad, but it can use more portion on the fuyunghai. Nasi goreng wasn't bad, but not surprising. Also can improve the portion.. Beverage, I tried macha latte, which is nice.

Vast parking space, but I wish the location can be easier to access. Kinda...
