BPK Saksang Goyang Lidah (Sagoli) — Restaurant in City of Medan

Best BPK in town. Price might be a bit on the steeper side, but it's definitely worth the pricetags. No gaminess detected. The ribs fell over the bone kind of juicy, the bbq pork that combines both fatty and lean meat harmoniously, the crispy fried pork that was very crunchy and not tough, just to name a few of amazing experience eating here. Even the cassava leaves were amazing and nicely seasoned. The blood sauce, omg, if you're intimidated by the word blood, fret not bcs i couldn't taste any weird flavor, just some umami and herby minty flavor that complemented the pork super nicely! If only the location is closer to the city, would gladly patronize this...

If this isn't the best place to eat BPK(grilled pork bataknese style) I dunno where else.... The grilled and deep fried pork belly were the best. There are also the ribs which were also quite tasty and saksang(pork stew with pig blood and spices) The andaliman spices are quite strong and fragrant... The downside is... The place is quite full... So either come at 11 or later at 14, if not feel free to stand about 30 min while waiting.... The drinks are also good, there are lemon grass orange mix juice... U should try em.. simply the best and most...

One of the best BPK (traditional bataknese bbq pork) in Medan, their lean meat is not tough at all, their seasoning was nicely done. And to accompany this BPK, there are 3 kind of sauces, the first one is made from mixture of spices (andaliman) and pork blood, second one is made from mixture of chili and andaliman, and the third one is made from some kind of sweet sauce with a hint of peanut and a little bit of fried shallots on top.

If you go on weekends, it will be very crowded, so expect long queue and...
