Minum Kopi — Restaurant in City of Medan

It’s my first time here. A humble place, the main building is a wooden hut above the pond. You need to across the bridge to get the bar.

Today’s order is single dose espresso and cappuccino. In a simply way the espresso taste was just okay, dark chocolate, medium body, long aftertaste. But the cappuccino is impressive, taste of chocolate milk, a hint and a taste of sweet scent just like a blend of flower and berry candy. The taste like it's recorded in the brain but hard to remember.

The barista really friendly and care about the impressions and feedback from their visitors. After had a chat, he explain that the results of their development for their milk based beans is chocolate milk and blueberry jam.

Buat yang suka kopi di Medan pasti udah ga asing sama kedai kopi ini. Kopinya langsung dari petani tanpa campur tangan tengkulak, sehingga harga kopi di sini cenderung lebih murah dari kedai kopi lain sekaligus berkontribusi mensejahterakan petani kopi. Situjuah Gadang Honey jadi favorit saya dan teman-teman tiap duduk di sini.

Selain kopi, ada jamur dan kentang goreng yang juga enak; serta varian makanan berat kaya nasi soto, nasi goreng, bahkan burger dan cubanos.

Pelayanannya luar biasa ramah, baristanya handal dan ga sungkan buat diajak ngobrol seputar kopi dan lainnya. Ada Akbar, barista paling sepuh dan kawan-kawannya yang skillnya sudah diakui sejagad perkopian Medan Johor sekitar, yang setia menanti kehadiranmu tiap sore sampe close order...
