O'Flahertys — Restaurant in City of Medan

This restaurant always gave bad impressions for me and my partner. Visited this restaurant yesterday. First came in, the restaurant smells so humid and old. The server then guided us to a table at the corner beside the bar. While ordering our food, that area feels very uncomfortably hot and smell bad. We then requested to move to other table but the server did not allow us to move as we were just dining for 2, reason being that there is a CCTV that is monitoring that area and the owner is watching them. But then, all of the tables are catering at least for 5 persons. It is really unreasonable and illogical for me. We ended up leaving this restaurant. Dont even expect this bar will provide wide range of alcoholic beverages as they only sell beer. They have the laziest servers and arrogant personality towards their customers. I mean you guys are not a five star hotel and we should not be treated as if we are dining for free and the food is really expensive compared to a five star hotel that serves better both food and hospitality. Not recommended. *better spend your money in other restaurant that has greater food...

The grilled pork ribs sold here is undeniable taste good, and the meat is fresh and tender. Although it tasted a bit fishy, ​​it may be that the meat raw materials have not been properly processed and washed! The service in this restaurant is not bad, the layout and atmosphere in it are relaxed and subdued. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit dark and gloomy, which caused my vision to be a bit blurry. According to and based on the basic principle of "color, aroma and taste" in tasting food as it should be, the restaurant management has neglected the rights of customer and ignored the final result of customer's feeling. The restaurant is located near some posh residential areas but on a narrow streets. Fortunately, there is a spacious parking area in front of the restaurant itself, plus the other spaces left and right side in front of the neighbouring uninhabited houses, enought for parking more than 10 to 20 cars. I don't know how long this place has been here but it needs a good cleaning and update. Waiter couldn't repeat my order immediately after I gave it. We were 6 people and orders came out 2 at a time. So first 2 people were done eating when last 2 orders arrived. If you're going to eat anything at all I would chose the pork rib.. I had the Kansas city style. It was nice and hot but the mashed potatoes were terrible, pasty and tasteless. Mildly warm. Baked beans were cold. Some people like them that way but not for dinner. Everyone at the table had the ribs but 1 had the smoked salmon spaghetti. They most disgusting thing I ever tasted. I don't think anyone tastes the food that they serve.
