The fact that there was only one occupied table in the whole restaurant when I arrived during peak dinner time says it all. Where do I even begin?
The meat was so chewy it took ages for me to swallow. Salads were brownish and look like they were at least one week old. The seafood was no where near fresh. They try to scam you by serving ultra sweet drinks, then when you ask for water to dilute the drinks, they say PLAIN WATER is part of a different, chargeable package (the fact that they do this shows how desperate they are for money).
The dessert section was so limited and sad, they served only a tiny portion for each dessert. One dessert (sira ubi kayu) had a grand total of two pieces served as part of the âbuffetâ and never topped-up when it finished.
The service was fine, except one of the waitresses clearly needed training. I had asked to help charge my phone at the cashier counter, left it for almost an hour, only to find out when I went to pick it up that the battery was still at 4% because the charger wasnt even turned on. The waitress casually informed me of this, and instead of apologizing, she kept asking which country I was from, what I was doing in Bali, etc. The audacity.
Clearly the many good reviews for this so called restaurant are paid, fake reviews. I travelled 1 hour from Nusa Dua because I had great childhood memories dining at Hanamasa in my home town, where they no longer operate. I was so excited to find Hanamasa in Bali after so many years. But after this experience I am never coming here again, not even if...
Read moreHanamasa is without a doubt one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants in Bali. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal.
The food at Hanamasa is simply amazing, with so many options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for sushi, grilled meat, seafood, or something else entirely, they have it all. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and everything is cooked to perfection.
One of the things I love most about Hanamasa is how affordable it is. Despite the high quality of the food and the great service, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for those on a budget.
Overall, I would highly recommend Hanamasa to anyone looking for a fantastic all-you-can-eat dining experience in Bali. The staff are wonderful, the food is delicious, and the prices are unbeatable. Don't miss out on this...
Read moreBeen eating here since they first opened for business. The quality has been up and down while the price keeps going up.
Last Saturday, we went there for lunch l, 2 adults and 1 kid. After got back home my girlfriend started to have a bad stomach and was getting worse at night. Me starting to have the symptom at night. Good thing her kid was fine so we suspected the 2 menus that he didn't eat (but we both ate) which were marinated sliced beefs and marinated chickens (for grill).
My girlfriend, Hanamasa was her first meal of the day so the decision is pretty obvious.
After she posted her story on her Instagram, there were some friends commenting on it said they went there recently and also had the sickness, one even went to a hospital for it.
No more Hanamasa, there are many others choices with better quality in the same price range.
Ps. I consider myself a strong stomach but this one was...
