Loved visiting this place because of its tranquility. I could view stunning green open space as I dine - it has always been a pleasure to go here. Asian food is great. I have tasted the Rawon - beef rib, Thai Green Curry, and Ikan Bakar Jantung Pisang (it's a roast fish with broth), and Ayam Bakar. All that I mentioned were simply delicious. Day to day I don't typically go for dishes with broth but here they made it so good I ended up ordering those types of dishes often. The taste of each dish is rich and balanced.
I would highly recommend getting the Asian/Indonesia dishes when coming here as their Western-inspired dishes fell short of expectations. I have tasted their salad and wraps and unfortunately they were not nearly as good as their Indonesian dishes (those felt more like a filler menu). Both their caesar chicken salad and prawn salad were runny / too watery (dressing wasn't balanced) and the bread was definitely not something to write home about. But regardless of these shortcomings, you would definitely be able to enjoy it if you come with the expectation of dining in a tranquil green environment and a serving of tasty, savoury Asian dishes.
TLDR for food, recommend: Rawon Thai green curry Ayam bakar I would pass on the salads.
They have Javanese desserts as well, among them were Klappetart and Es Puter.
Another thing they could improve on is their selection of music. Thankfully it was usually not loud so most times I could ignore what they were playing.
The service was also the highlight of this place! I've been coming here for a year or so, always made it a point to come here at least once a month if I can, and the reason the place feels like home is because of the wait staff.
Both Mita and Mila were absolutely lovely people who were more than just smiles (I hope I spelled their names right - they are two professional wait staff I admire!). They listen to you and do their best to accommodate your request. They were also highly skilled and they seem to do everything from greeting you, preparing tables, getting and delivering your orders, and cashier duties. They made the effort to remember you, and every single time I came, I always felt that they did their best to serve you sincerely. Anything that might be amiss was communicated. They deserve a raise :) 🌱
Once, I requested an impromptu birthday celebration for my friend; some singing, arranging a cake, and coming in stealth for the small surprise -- these were very sudden but they coordinated smartly (and stealthily!) it made me quite impressed. They even have a song ready which was beyond what I expected lol. Mr. Dede helped with the birthday celebration too.
They seem to be undergoing some construction at the moment but I didn't feel it was a bother, at least not at the moment. I hope that no matter how this place might change in the future, it will always offer a sense of tranquility; something I felt was a signature of this place.🍀🌱

Read moreThis place is like stumbling upon a little green paradise right in the middle of the desert. My friend and I dropped by for an afternoon coffee, and honestly, the vibes couldn’t have been more joyful or relaxing. Think breezy open gardens, a calming river view, and a mix of nature with chic design.
We tried the mixed juice, an iced cappuccino, and a couple of appetizers. The spicy chicken wings were a total winner. The corn prawn though felt a bit like a kid’s snack with cornflakes and nori on top and could use a glow-up in presentation.
Big shoutout to their mocktails too, they are super pretty and actually taste as good as they look.
Prices are pretty friendly, with a minimum spend of 75k if you want those dreamy cliffside seats. Not bad at all for the whole experience.
For next time, I just wish the staff would tone down the chattiness a bit. Playful is fun, but guests might feel more comfortable with a touch more professionalism. Still, I can’t wait...
Read moreA good choice if you're in the area but the number of things missing on the menu almost made us leave!
Other reviews have mentioned missing items from the menu but I was shocked when they had no rice and no noodles! It was midweek at 1300 so I'm not sure why. There was a whiteboard behind the bar with a list of missing items but this was just 2 dishes and a steak.
Aside from the difficulties ordering the service was good and the location was very calm.
Better priced than downtown Sanur
The curry we excellent and the rest of the food was good too.
They had a baby chair and it was clean Bathroom was basic but serviceable for adults - no options for baby changing but they had no objections to us doing this tableside.
I wouldn't travel to visit this place but would recommend it if you want somewhere in the area e.g. near the...
