Never again.
I had lunch at QR with my wife and daughter… We will not eat at QR again. I have several complaints: We were not greeted in a friendly manner. My wife ordered a dish with mashed potatoes, but they gave her potato wedges… When we asked them to fix the dish, the kitchen refused. The server apologized to us and said, “I’m sorry, I already told them to make mashed potatoes but the kitchen is not focused.” I feel bad for this server. They said they can replace the dish but we have to pay for it. So we did not receive what we paid for in that regard. Our daughter is 2 years old and loves mashed potatoes. The food did not taste good. The fried broccoli and asparagus had no flavor and was served with a tiny dish of sweet & spicy sauce. The asparagus itself was undercooked and hard. My mushroom chicken noodle soup was also flavorless, it tasted very plain, the chicken was dry and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. The iced tea did not taste like tea, it was basically just an ice water. The attitude of the staff is very quiet and awkward. Me and my wife both felt very uncomfortable. I could tell that our server was also uncomfortable in the environment created by her team. When we went to pay, my wife was left standing at the cash register for around 5+ minutes surrounded by the entire restaurant staff (for some reason they are all standing together in a small area around the register), but not one single staff member said anything to her, it was complete awkward silence for 5 minutes. When my wife finally spoke up and asked to pay, the man operating the computer just said, “yeah.”
We entered this restaurant very politely and maintained a friendly attitude… We did nothing to instigate this awkward environment/attitude. We definitely will never be returning to this restaurant again. Eating here was a mistake, we were pulled in by the beautiful interior design but very disappointed when we left.
It is clear to see why the...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this Japanese-style cafe in Bali on my recent trip and I was truly impressed. The staff were some of the friendliest and most attentive I've encountered at any cafe. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and it definitely paid off. The coffee was also excellent - smooth, rich, and full of flavor. And the food - oh my goodness, the food! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the service and food. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I won't soon forget. If you're in Bali and looking for a great cafe with excellent food and drinks, this place should definitely be on your list. You won't be...
Read moreFrom entering the restaurant I felt weird bcs no staff greeted and assisted me. They instead was talking on the bar and having eyes on the phone. Japanese food was not good, no sushi choice and the chicken shoyu ramen taste like typical local chicken noodle that you can buy at street hawker (so it is overpriced). The egg was fully boiled and tasteless, the broth was Indonesian rather than Japanese. Definitely not shoyu. The ice tea tarik also tasted like an instant one. There was also no 'thank you' or goodbye from the staff when we were done paying. There was only a males staff who was kind enough when I asked where the restroom was. Not coming back for sure even though it is very close...
