Hago Beach — Restaurant in Denpasar Utara

Hago Beach is a brand new restaurant with a cool beach-style concept that creates a great vibe.

Hago Beach is located inside Subak Restaurant, which can be a bit tricky to find. Once you know this, it's easier to navigate to the restaurant.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall positive experience.

One thing to note is that there is a minimum spend of about RP.350,000 if you want to sit on a bed or table near the pool.

The food is pretty good overall, with the triple mushroom pizza being particularly noteworthy.

The Caesar salad was a bit plain, lacking in flavour, but still okay.

The Chicken Parmigiana was alright as well. However, the seafood tempura was definitely a standout dish.

Despite being a bit far from everything, it's a great spot to chill out and enjoy...

I love the vibes, the aesthetic, overall, it is a great place to chill and have some drinks. We used to love their food, but not on our last visit unfortunately. I ordered ribeye steak for 125k, and got served what looked like a piece of burnt rubber, super dry and not even any sauce to justify it. Our nasi goreng came very late, the guest next to our table who ordered the same item later than us, got served first. I think the server forgot to input our order. Our beer bucket filled mostly with water and a little ice. The beers not even cold to begin with. We understand that we came on the weekend, but most people only have time to chill on the weekend and I don’t think this is the kind of experience they expect on their precious...

A very family friendly place with an amazing view (the pool in front and the ricefield at the back). The place has this cozy ambience and perfect to go under a sunny day, not to mention the staffs have been super lovely with us and we received the best service. Regarding the food, the shrimp vegetable roll was superb and the sauce is a must-try! Would definitely recommend this day...
