Chunda Resto — Restaurant in Depok

Visited Chunda Resto after spending time at Candi Prambanan (Prambanan Temple), this restaurant is rather attractive and hard to miss from main road because of its beautiful design with many stairs and mainly white blue colors like buildings in Santorini. So, I decided to have lunch here and ordered their Carbonara Beef Bacon Fettuccine (their carbonara is pretty nice in my opinion). I also ordered their Iced Lychee Tea and 2 scoops of Chunda Gelato (they used the infamous Massimo Gelato) to accompany my mealtime. For the gelato, I chose their Tiramisu and Wildberry Cheesecake flavors. They have indoor and outdoor seating area. Perfect place to hangout with family and friends. Avoid at all cost. The "Sontorini" facade looks attractive but the traffic noise from a very busy highway nearby will give you headache in first 5 mins.

Food takes forever to arrive. After nearly 40 mins, we were given a cold pizza. When we complained about it, the staff said sorry and disappeared without any action or explanation. The rest of the stuff came about 10 mins later. Our "special promotion" Australian tenderloin steak had a still frozen center! We abandoned the dinner right there and walked off. The staff at the front desk was extremely embarrassed and apologetic, probably new at her job, nobody else even bothered to find out why some guests are walking off mid-way through a dinner. At least, they didn't even try to charge us for the nibbles we had at our food.

Just avoid. Life...

Menu is different than what is shown online - came with 8 people and all were disappointed. Food took long to come and tasted mediocre. Probably the worse food we have tasted in Indonesia. They also did not have steak in stock nor did they have burgers. Only pizza and wings…

I asked for soda / sparkling water - They said they have. They brought me regular water and then said they did not have in stock…

They did not have food in stock, food took long to come out, and the food that did come was not tasty at all. Much better places for steak, pizza, burgers, wings, and duck.
