A really good place that serves authentic Gudeg. The service is swift and excellent, staffs know about the menus inside and out, and they accept requests such as adding extra or without any stuff that you don't like (i.e. sambal). They also offers various package to take away with authentic Javanese basket "Besek".

This is kinda bias, but if you're not a fan of sweet main dish, this place is totally not for you. We understand that traditional gudeg of Yogyakarta is supposed to taste sweet; but the food we tried on this place was truly on a different level of sweetness. Restaurant, serve special Jogjanese dish gudeg, which is made of young jackfruit and boiled well for hours with spicy sweet taste. Chicken, eggs, tofu, and anything else.
