One of the well known Nasi Kuning (rice in coconut milk and turmeric) restaurant in Yogyakarta. It served the nasi kuning as all time dish, from morning for breakfast till late for dinner. One of my favorite was Nasi kuning with boiled egg and chili beef, eventhough the chili paste they made was a bit sweet, but I'm okay with that. It would be much better if the chili paste they made was a bit spicier to create a tasty flavour to the beef or chicken. When I first visited this place back in 2012, it was the premier place for Banjarese food in Jogjakarta. So much so that, arguably, it offered better Banjarese food than many other Banjarese restaurant in Banjarmasin. They offered (and still offer, if I'm not mistaken) Nasi Kuning Sambal Habang and Soto Banjar as their flagship dishes.

Now, in 2019, their food was... meh. It's not disappointing, but there wasn't the "oomph" factor that was present 6 years ago. Admittedly, the food was blander than I remember, and was lukewarm at best, and room temperature at worst....
