Ol’ Pops Coffee Cinangka — Restaurant in Depok

When I first got here, I didn't realise that this place was existed. Out of nowhere, boom! A worthy place to mention appears.

This place sold menus that is not cheap, if we look at the surrounding area. Main course price is around 40-60k drinks 15-40k. Not cheap but I think it's worth it.

The ambience is rustic, the main indoor room is actually an old brick house that was refurbished nicely, with seating arranged here and there to fit the area. Some seating was old, some New, there's one seating that used a wooden divan.

There are three indoor area, the one I mentioned before was the largest one ipso the main room.

The outdoor area consisted of two island, the main one was in front of the stage for live music (yes the have one, kept on playing although it's raining when I was here).

Olpops is all about making you feel right at home. The place is set up like a house with different rooms to explore, each with its own unique charm. It's perfect for unwinding, catching up with friends, or even getting some laptop-works done. You might never want to leave!

The prices are fair, given the top-notch ambiance. Sure, it’s not the cheapest, but with a setup this good, it's totally worth it.

Ini cafe nyempil di pinggiran kota depok, tapi asli ini worth to visit, terlepas dari lahan parkirnya yang terbatas banget di pinggir jalan. Ini aku kasih bintang 5 karena beberapa alasan:

Lokasi. Meskipun bukan di jalan besar, lokasinya menurutku cukup strategis buat warga cinangka yang emang rumahnya nyempil di depok mepet tangsel gini. Ambience. Oke banget, temanya rustic gitu yang bener2 niat banget. Tapi rusticnya ga terkesan kotor dan demek gitu. Kan ada cafe yang sok-sokan rustic tapi jadinya malah kotor, demek, lembab gitu. Di sini terbukti gak gitu. Bahkan pas masuk toiletnya yang old itu, kondisinya bersih dan ga bau. Terus area outdoornya juga cukup luas. Plus ada panggung kecilnya. Rasa. Soal rasa sebetulnya sih enak. Kopi gula arennya termasuk enak. Gak kemanisan dan masih dominan kopi rasanya, bukan malah susu. Tapiii yang harus digarisbawahi adalah menu spaghetti-nya. Rasa sih okelah, tapi teksturnya itu loh yang bermasalah. Spaghettinya gak aldente, alias kelembekan masaknya. Coba kurangi waktu memasaknya biar al dente. Suruh kokinya cobain spaghetti yang al dente itu gimana. Kan sayang udah rasanya enak tapi tekstur ga mendukung. Pelayanan. Ini yang paling juara sih. Jadi waktu itu makanan aku lama banget keluarnya, aku nunggu sampai setengah jam lebih ada kali. Terus pas udah setengah jam pelayannya menghampiri aku. Dia minta maaf karena pesanannya lama datangnya. Dia lalu memberikan kopi susu gula aren sebagai complimentary karena pesanannya lama datangnya. Waw! Aku salut sih sama cafe yang kayak gini. Jarang ada cafe atau resto kayak gini. Terus pas aku lagi makan spaghetti pelayannya menghampiri aku lagi dan nanya soal makanannya. Aku jawab jujur sih sesuai poin nomor 3. Dan pelayannya menawarkan aku ganti spaghettinya yang baru dong. Aku bilang ga usah soalnya udah kemakan. Juara sih...
