Omah Kopi 78 — Restaurant in Depok

I love the ambience offered by Omah Kopi 78. We happened to get a saung-shaped dining area, and the view of the pond was beautiful. Since the area is not big, the walking path is not enough for two people passing through. Some of the food deliverers had to give in to the passing visitors, not to mention the potential of collisions. I suggest a one-way rule, since you have two different pathways, so that visitors can be safe and not disturb the food deliverers.

I was happy with the fried rice, the spices were similar to Javanese fried rice, this was the first time my daughter wanted to eat fried rice, as she is quite picky when it comes to fried rice. The Irish coffee was also good with cream cheese on top. The ayam geprek sambal matah was beyond expectations. Usually for boneless chicken, I don't expect much because most of them don't taste perfect (most café stored their food too long), but surprisingly this time, the meat was fresh and juicy enough to eat. Appreciation to the staff for keeping the food fresh, and hopefully, the standard will continue. Oh, and I cannot thank you enough for the delicious food with affordable prices. Traditional restaurants or café mostly charge mediocre food with expensive prices. Please keep your price this way 🙏

Lastly, I'm not too fond of the restrooms. Even though it's traditional, I honestly expected it to be a sitting toilet, but instead, it's a squatting toilet. The musala is also not big enough.

And now, with the animals. I feel sorry for the birds that are openly displayed. Although they are cute and loved by children, these birds can get stressed and bored. I think it's better to keep them in cages. Or better release them be.

I came to this place around 5.50PM which is around the dinner rush. The cashier said that the orders went through their WhatsApp restaurant.

About 5 minutes after the orders are confirmed. The Cashier asked the customer to be patient for about 30 minutes due to the explosive amount of orders from other customers at 6 PM, which I agree to.

However after 30 minutes of waiting. Only the strawberry yakult drink was delivered. The other order such as wedang jahe and nasi goreng telur not even delivered after that waiting.

When I came down to the cashier. It just confirmed that the order was about to be cooked or made.

Homey and Cozy, saya rasa ini kata yg tepat untuk kafe satu ini. Mengusung tema kafe dengan aksen tradisional dilengkapi bnyaknya tanaman, gazebo, kolam ikan dan beberapa binatang yg dipelihara oleh Omah kopi 78. Tempat ini cocok buat kalian yg lagi cari ketenangan untuk berkumpul bersama teman, keluarga ataupun pasangan. Tempatnya menggunakan meja pergazebo menjadikan tempat ini berasa privat untuk berkumpul.

Tempat ngopi tersering yg saya datangi😂 hampir semua menu udh dicoba dan mba2 kasirnya udah hapal muka saya kayaknya.

Saat masuk langsung terdapat area parkir yg cukup luas, parkirkan kendaraan kalian trus masuk ke dalam, pas masuk lngsung ambil menu di bagian kasir lalu akan diarahkan untuk cara memesannya. Untuk cara memesannya tinggal duduk di gazebo yg dipilih, lalu chat no admin yg berada dimenu, nanti akan diberi template pengisiannya. Untuk pembayarannya skrg hanya menerima cashless bisa Qris dan kartu debit. Untuk menu semua sudah include pb1, jdi saat pembayaran sudah tidak ada penambahan pb1. Oiya pada sabtu dan minggu hanya dapat menikmati makan dan minum selama 120menit ya^

Saya merekomendasikan menu : Pempek kapal selam, rasa ikannya berasa, empuk dan kuah cukonya yg enak walau tidak sestrong cuko asli palembang (9/10)🤤 Honey chicken wings, rasa ayam yg manis madu membuat saya ingin makan dengan nasi hangat (9/10) Ramen spesial level 4, kuah kental pedas dan asin dengan toping ayam, crabstick, dan kepiting. (8.5/10) Nasgor kecombrang dan nasgor kambing (8/10) Cireng dengan sambal rujak (8/10) Tempe mendoan dengan sambal kecap (8/10) Bluberi krim + float / Stroberi krim + float, rasa manis yg pas dari selai bluberi/stroberi dengan krimer ditambah eskrim float di atasnya (9.5/10)😍 Vietnam drip. Pahit kopi dan manis susu kentalnya enaa (8.5/10) Teh sereh. Enak buat hangatin badan dikala cuaca dingin (8.5/10)

Minus : kamar mandi perempuannya yg bisa dilihat oleh pelayan yg lewat, jdi mau benerin kerudung dikaca selalu was2 karna mas2 pelayannya pasti nengok. Kejadian ga cuma sekali jdi cukup risih menurut saya. Tempat solatnya yg sempit dan deket sama kamar mandi laki2....
