Green Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Desa Pagandaran

Honestly, one of the best places we have eaten during our stay in Java so far. We were a bit hesitant at first because of some mixed reviews, but we did give it a try. We are so glad we ate here. You can read in the reviews there are 2 different menu's, that is because with experience the owners learned that tourist tend to eat a lot more then locals, so the proces are realy based on portions. The second thing we read in other reviews was that the food took long before you are served, that is correct, but keep in mind that your food is freshly cooked on the moment you order it. So yes, you have to wait the time it takes to cook your dinner, just like at home. The owners are also very friendly and are speaking English very good.
