Chalet Bromo Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in East Java

Acceptable food, but service standards can be improved. We came here for a lunch after a quite long trip bcs this place is far from city. Secluded place so we already had some high expectations. Especially after seeing their pretty ig photos. Good marketing. As you enter the place u can see a lot of photo spots. A lot of interesting props including the menu book design. But the design made me assume it is unhygienic and difficult to be cleaned up. The construction near lower floor was annoying and dusty. The pool, and their background music, didn't match the chalet theme. From their price it must be a fancy reataurant but, there are some flies flying and hopping around my table. Although their iced coffee was 30k, the 50k ice tea surprised me, compared to the food we ordered were 65k and 85k. We ended up taking away our meal, but they didn't have plastic spoon/fork provided for takeaway. The foods were actually quite good. Croque madame tasted just fine. They had tasty cheese. We just come checking out these new place to hang out at Chalet Bromo Restaurant. We're ordering drinks and dessert. The view was rice fields. I just liked the way they design the place. The first floor on your left side and middle place looks like Swiss kinda of style. On your left you'll found the small pool and the view. I love the 2nd floor design. It's feel like you in Bali but you actually in Malang 😜. Things you should know before getting to this place. Monday is closed. Weekday is open for walk in. However weekend you need to RSVP. I've got the info from the host from your first walk in. Luckily, we come on weekday. I like the place very much. Beautiful. Luxury in the suburban. Feel like at Ubud Bali. Food is ok.👍🏼 Payment: cash, card. You can use the swimming pool with the beautiful view. But let me share some input to improve: Service should be improved for better. Not friendly enough. The only one looks warm enough is parking officer 😀. They should teach the cashier/frontliner/waiter to be more friendly, nice, good communication skill. The swimming pool floor and water looks dirty. it seems no maintenance enough.
