Sea View Restaurant — Restaurant in East Java

The food is small by its size and it doesn't taste vey good, but we had to pay for it a plenty of money. The atmosphere of the restaurant is literally dead. It looks like it is 20 or 30 years old and wasn't reconstructed since the time it was built. Service is also not the best. If workers in other restaurants somehow understood English, in this situation it was like we were talking with a wall, even if the restaurant is located inside the hotel. We had to use the translator. At the end of our "breakfast", we gave the money for the cost of all the food+10% of it, but what made us confused and almost angry is that the worker didn't give us the change. She thought we wouldn't notice that. But when we did and called her for the change, she said "Why do I have to give change, if you also have to give money for the table?" After paying a rather large bill by Indonesian standards we were chased down in carpark as they had forgotten one drink .No real problem yet. Gave the cashier 100,000 rp for a invoice for 38,500rp expecting 61,500 change she came back with 40,000rp.sent her back for correct change ,this time 50,000rp ,she was again requested to return at least 60,000rp,When she returned with the management and a calculator they proceeded to do the difficult math, that when shown to us ,showed 61,500rp was the correct change. We ordered family package meal and then came out massive amount of foods for 5 people! Big bucket of rice with grilled fish, shrimps, squids, 3 types of vegetable dish, 1 plate of sliced watermelon, mineral water, and 2 types of sambal. We also tried their veggie nuggets and tahu tuna or tuna tofu, so good! Please take note that the prices mentioned in the menu are before tax. Foods tasted fresh and we were so full ready for the next adventure....
