Warung Lesehan Pak Sholeh — Restaurant in East Java

This place hold sooooooooooooooooo many memories. My sister & I went to a boarding school near this place (few KMs away) and we always stop by this place everytime we went to or came home from it. I remember they have one of the best traditional Javanese fried chicken & sambal. And when I say it's good, it is really good. I have very high standards in Javanese food bc my mom's cooking is very, very good For 4 people, they will serve you the rice in a bowl made of bamboo, the chicken & vegetables in a big plate, the sambal in cobeks, 4 empty plates & a bowl of water to wash your hand. The service is fast & the staff are friendly It's been years since the last time I visited this place (I don't remember the exact year, but it was about 3-5 years) but I still visited the branch in my city once in a while. Back to the main branch, there was a time where the taste of sambal has changed. But when I visited it few weeks ago, it came back to it's original taste. The chicken also tasted the same. There's also more variations in the menu. BUT. The big but. Now the chicken is so small. It's a bet if you're going to this place because you'll never know how good the food will be, at one occasion i got one of the best food ever served then on another occasion i got the worst food ever served. Will recommend going to this place when it's not holiday season or weekends because the place is crowded when holidays and the food will taste worse like they just serve it as fast ad they can so you can go away and make room for...

Dari dulu sampe sekarang (april 2022) tetep rame yah, apalagi pas bulan ramadhan gini beuh sampe antri-antri buat makan, sayangnya musholla kecil jadi antri banget, menu belum bisa perorangan (menu rame-rame gitu) jadi sayang kalo makan tidak habis, pengen makan banyak menu jadinya porsinya banyakan gitu kan sayang mubazhir (tapi disediakan kertas minyak dan kresek buat dibungkus sendiri dibawa pulang), oh iya ketika ditawarin menu sama pelayannya kita ga tau daftar harganya, jadi cuma mesen-mesen aja ntr dicatat sama petugasnya (tapi kemarin saya sengaja nanyain langsung harga-harganya ketika didatengin takut duitnya kurang kan ga lucu yaaa haha, tapi ga semuanya karena petugasnya seperti enggang nyebutin harganya yasudahlah), dan ketika di kasir kita tidak tahu detail harga masing-masing nya, kita tinggal sebut nomor gazebo/ mejanya ke kasir, lalu disebutin pesanannya tadi apa aja tanpa ada notanya gitu, saya tidak tahu pembayaran bisa non tunai atau engga karena semua orang bayar tunai. parkir cukup lahya, toilet ada, wastafel banyak, dapet gratis takjil. Ohya klo ga salah harga ayam bakar 60rb/ekor, klo perpotong nya 17rb (1/4 ekor), lain-lainnya tidak bisa ecer hehe dan saya lupa harganya. Sekian pengalaman saya semoga bermanfaat.
