D'Sumba Ate Waikabubak — Restaurant in East Nusa Tenggara

Nice atmosphere, but the food was very disappointing, especially for the price. Also, the staff messed up our order. Twice. I understand that we’re not in Napoli here, but this pizza (that I ordered for my kids) should simply not be served. Ketchup is not a base sauce. The crust was so doughy that it felt like eating gum. The grilled chicken gave me and my wife cramps right after.

I honestly don’t understand what this restaurant is aiming for. It’s too pricey for most locals. If it wants to serve tourists, then it needs to step up (big time) in terms of quality...

My worst experience ever! I am a Canadian visiting Sumba and walked 2 km at night to the restaurant. No one wanted to take my order, then when I ordered the first 2 appetizers they didn’t have them. we can say that Sumba Ate is the most recommended place to hangout, having meals or even beer time with family, friend or partner. the dishes are very delicious and served well. the atmosphere is warm and lovely and so casual. this place is the most visited by tourist because i'd say there is no other restaurant serving pizza, western food and hallal food outside the hotels. we can sing along trough the night because there is a karaoke hall in front of...
