We received a warm welcome from the waitress at Dapur Tara. The journey from our hotel took around 30 minutes by motorcycle. The setting was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing vegetarian lunch, as shown in the photo. The meal was colorful, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared using fresh ingredients picked straight from their backyard garden. I need to give an honest review about the restaurant. We booked the “Tribal dinner” and I’m afraid there is a total misconception about what you have to pay vs what you get. IDR 330.000 (PER PERSON) does give the impression you get quite an experience, especially if you know what regular dinner costs on the island/area. They presented however 7 dishes on a table which you could take some bites from in buffet-style with other hotel guests.
