Booked this hotel because good review and beautiful pictures but i ended up had bad experiences. Staf not really take care the guests even the place not soo busy, when we do check in at night the front office guy is too busy with his phone watching football when we want to be in our room as fast as we can because we are soo freezing cold after got soaking wet from the big rain. From earlier whatsapp message with them, i got information the room rate is 500k but when we check in he informed us is 550k. After i showed my wa message he said ok i gave you discount and become 500k. First bad experiences
When we are in the room, i am glad to saw water kettle but directly dissapointed when we cant find any water bottle to make hot water. Maybe we should use water tap? The room need to have a good maintenances and take care by the housekeeping, alots need to fixes and clean. I wont tell the detail but maybe you could check room no 3. Second bad experiences
We had dinner at the restaurant and only us in the restaurant, we like the wall decoration is beautifull and unique. The staf comes and fast respond to take our order. While we wait of our food, we just realize there is no music from the restaurant speaker but the staf played hip hop music from their phone and for sure the music is not for the guests. Also the staf do videocall with his family which is i can clearly hearded. Third bad experiences
At least our food come out fast and we are impressed with the taste, the platting and also with portion. Bravo for kitchen staf, we really happy with the food. Good job.
In the morning we had breakfast next to the pool, we amazed with the view of the pool and also beautiful mountain.
My last bad experiences which is when we do check out and want do card payment. The edc machine wont print the payment receipt and after he check inside the machine, there is no paper roll . For me this is silly because he not check everything when he start his shift.
This place has a very good potential but sadly the management need to work more with the staf and take care...

How can you have the best and the worst at the same time. Location is amazing. Beautiful view of greenery of rice fields. The food and drinks are also delicious.
However.... Let's start with the restaurant. The workers really need to get some hospitality training, or a good manager. I know we are in a small city, but manners should be standard everywhere. Nobody greeted and seated us, or even offered us any menu. We had to get them at the cashier desk. And then nobody came to take our order. We had to go order, again at the cashier desk. Made me wonder, are we at a warung or a restaurant? The workers were busy playing on their phones, singing, or chatting, instead of doing their jobs. Cleanliness could improve. Water all over the floor at the sink area, and tissuebox were empty.
If you could ignore all of those then this place is worth to try. The only person doing a good job is the chef. Food were great.
The hotel rooms. We stayed here twice. The first stay was fine. The room was basic, but at least we had hot shower, bed, and wifi. The second stay was not so fine. We had the deluxe room, so we paid more than the previous one. No problem at all. But surprisingly, the room could get a bit more extra cleaning (the floor was dirty), no wifi this time, and no hot shower. The last one was really a bummer. I can get away with no internet, but after a long drive from Bajawa I need a hot shower. It's really dissapointing that the hotel could charge quite a high price but without checking or providing all the facilities. You can take my money, but give me what its worth.
The frontdesk were helpful though. I know it's not his responsibilty or his fault that this happened, but he tried his best to help. Still with no result.
So, there's my review. I need to get it out of my system, while waiting for the hot shower (hopefully)...
Read moreThey got these great view from the outside seating, but the day i come 6th Dec 22 around 13.44pm local time, I didn’t know that the whole area was fully booked and occupied by group of company i guess, so the regular guest can not enter, i did asked when then i can use the place, of course they said didn’t know because the waiter stated that it is occupied for the whole day, so there is no chance i can sit and enjoy the place, while waiting for my pick-up, the front terrace was finally left unoccupied because when i arrived, there’s this people from the groups having their lunch as well at the terrace , like wow it is whole area occupied, so i think shall i do order drink while waiting and surprisingly 1 of the blue polo shirt waiter, by then are not present on the front area (cashier) which are gathering beside the eating area eating as well which i guess from the leftover of the group , said CAN NOT. As people who also working in hospitality industry, i really confused and mad, like okay let’s say your daily revenue from the group booking has exceeded limit, doesn’t mean you don’t need to get revenue from regular guest tho. Luckily my pick-up didn’t take long time and i left still confuse and of course mad. I’m writing this from the perspective of tourist who took 3hours plus long time from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng to have a chill and leisure time and this is what i got.
