This restaurant by far give me hope that state n religion are two different entities in Indonesia. Seeing Indonesian natives having a great meal here gives me so much joy. It reminded me a comical incident of a majority certain religion country in southeast Asia ban to use the term hot dog fearing their naive subject will be thinking they are eating dogs thereby making them unholy.
Having a meal is so much fun here . It's pack to the brim at lunch time. You only have one objective here..... Eat the Pork !!!!! The mantra is simple too; come , get seated, order, attack the food, enjoy, give thanks, leave. For the food, crispy fried pork is a must. Pig blood and herb sauce is also Batak speciality here. Order other associated pork dishes, soup and a bottle of Batak soft drink to smooth it all down . It certainly be a great meal any day. Although the crispy pork is not top range as compared to Asia's best roast meat store, it's certainly a few notch above the average stores...
