Om Swastiastu!
⭐️ An amazing place with amazing people! I came here multiple times during my trip to Amed and enjoyed each time. It was recommended to me and I’m very happy I decided to check it out! The staff are super friendly and greeting you upon entrance, the menu is simple and easy, the view is phenomenal and the fried banana and coconut are delicious!
🌱 I was surprised when they brought out my coconut and it was so beautifully decorated with flowers, really nice touch! The friend banana is made with rice flour, coconut oil and coconut sugar so it’s both vegan and gluten free 🙏
❤️ I spoke to the owners who are really friendly and kind, wonderful smiles and an amazing story of how this place came to be. It’s built alongside their rice field and an organic garden where all their produce from the menu comes from. Even the rice flour comes their own fields! Just speaking to them was a pleasure :)
🙌 The view is honestly breathtaking! It was only on my third visit that I really admired how beautiful it is, you can watch farmers, animals run around the fields and just the gorgeous nature, coconut trees and stunning rice friends surrounding! I was even able to walk down and speak to some of the locals, awesome experience!
⭐️highly recommend a visit here! Despite it being near a busy road, it’s very peaceful and has multiple different seating areas. Everything is grown by themselves, even the coffee beans and I wish the family and staff all the very best, thank you for creating such a wonderful space and bringing smiles to others, much love....

We stumbled upon Berina Rice Terrace completely by accident while driving through the valleys on our way to Amed Beach and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip.
The scenery in this area is absolutely breathtaking, with lush, expansive rice fields that in our opinion are far more beautiful and authentic than the crowded, commercialized rice terraces around central Ubud. No entry fees (although you can give a donation via a small donation box), no crowds, just raw, natural beauty.
We initially pulled over just to take some photos, but then noticed a small, welcoming café overlooking the fields. The owner and staff greeted us so warmly that we decided to stay a little longer, and we’re so glad we did. The view was too stunning to walk away from, and the menu, though simple, was clearly made with heart. We ordered a fresh coconut and banana fritters, both were delicious, fresh, and very reasonably priced. The coconut was just 25000 IDR, which is about what locals pay.
To top it all off, we got to cuddle a tiny newborn puppy that had just joined the family, an unforgettable moment that made us feel truly at home.
This spot is a true hidden gem. If you're heading to Amed or exploring the eastern valleys of Bali, do yourself a favour and stop here. Better yet, skip the overhyped tourist rice fields and come here instead. It’s peaceful, authentic, and...
Read moreMany people have commented on the fried banana. Yes, it is the best in the world. But what is also great is the fact the owner lost her income like so many people in Bali during covid. She managed to buy a slice of land on the edge of the highway on an extremely steep hillside. She has managed to build a business, grow food, and looking at the almost 1000 5 star reviews provided CONSISTENT high quality food and service. If you're an entrepreneur and struggling in your own business take a look at what you can achieve when the odds are stacked against you. Amazing! Oh I forgot to mention the honey and the bees. On the areas of land which are too steep to do anything else with she has set up stingless native beehives. This is where the honey comes from. You may notice large amounts of these stingless bees when you arrive. Don't be concerned, what you leave on your plate they will take back, purify and return it to their hive. Another example of sustainable...
