Wayan has a beautiful family and they own a road side Warung where they sell handcrafted wooden pieces and nice food freshly prepared by mother and daughter. You feel and see the craftmanship in de wooden pieces. Besides woodcraft Wayan does tours of the Amed area. We went for a sunrise trip to the top of one of the local hills named Lahangan hill. The combination of clouds with the rising sun was well worth the early trip to the top. Wayan and his wife, two daughters, son and their super cute new protector of the estate Brownie welcomed us with open arms. On their invitation we went to a holy ceremony thats only twice a year. A really cool and amazing experience.

All together, if you are ever in Amed make sure you visit Warung Agus. And i hope you have the same experience as we had! Thank you for your...

I visit this Warung frequently when hiking and traveling by motorbike or car to Bangle & Sega. Pak Wayan has a large variety of his hand carved wood products. Quality is top notch for those who want a fantastic gift to take home from a local of Bunutan Amed Bali. From Cutting boards, plates, trays, bamboo Straws to painting made on site by his Daughter Kadek Dia. Pak Wayan is also a local guide , I would recommend a trip to the local waterfall, rice terraces, Lahangan Hill or Lahangan Sweet. Even the 5 Holy Springs are a fantastic hike. The menu at the warung for breakfast or lunch is made with fresh local ingredients. Refreshment include fresh fruit juice, soft drinks and ice cold beer. Service is excellent and always with a genuine smile. I highly recommend you stop and say hi to Wayan, Iluh, Dia,...

Located on the side of a small road with little traffic, on the way to the peaks above Amed (magnificent views!), this small family-run restaurant offers simple but tasty cuisine. The menu remains very simple, but the classics of Indonesian cuisine are present. But above all, it's the welcome that's worth the detour, with sincere smiles and a great deal of empathy. The man of the house works wood with his hands with talent, and his beautiful creations are available for sale on site. He'll also be happy to let you sign his notebooks attesting to the many visits of previous customers, not forgetting to indicate on a card where you've come from! Please note: there's not much room left for...

We passed by to fuel the motor bike and ended up spending some time at this beautiful family. The owners are so hart warming, loving people. The owner showed the kids how to play the Bali bamboo instrument (sorry i do not know the name), and got a jack fruit from the tree and let us taste it. It was an amazing experience and we loved everything about it. We laughed, played instrument, sang children songs and tasted sweet jackfruit. In the end I bought a wooden cutting board, which is amazingly made and u just feel the love that was put into making it. We will always think of this beautiful family. Thank you for this. This is what makes Bali so special 🩷🌿🌾🩷

I purchased several handmade wooden kitchen items created from teak and Balinese wood. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the family stayed open beyond business hours to accommodate me. The owner is exceptionally friendly, and they made me feel like family. He showed me wood carving projects that were in progress and his tools used to carve them. I really like that the items purchased were handmade there and support the local economy, not some Chinese factory. The cutting boards and wooden utensils made for a great gift and will help to bring back fond memories of my trip to Bali for many years to come.

What a wonderful family. This is just a few short minutes off the main road on Amed. So it's a restaurant AND wood shop. The owner works primarily with teak and cocunuts to make wonderful little creations. This isn't your typical warung where they bought a bunch of stuff claiming to be woodworkers no. His shop is right there and everything is made by hand. He custom made and order for me (in pics) to bring home to my family that I haven't seen in some time. Plus being it's genuine teak they will last forever. Go for food and have a look around. Thankss guys, see you again soon. Chris, Puerto Rico
