Warung Dini — Restaurant in Kecamatan Kubu

We had dinner there during our trip, from memory many years ago it was great. But the experience this time was very disappointing. We ordered seafood curry and beef rendang, together with some nasi goreng and vegetables. The seafood curry is more like a soup as appetizer with very few tiny pieces of seafood, which is not reasonable for the price we pay compared to anywhere else in Tulamben or Amed. This place came highly recommended and I understand why. The set up is very peaceful and pretty. The prices were remarkable and the food was great! I had the Chicken Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) (Rp 35k) and the mango milkshake (Rp 25k). The fried rice was so yummy. The mango milkshake was okay, not as flavorful as I was hoping but still good.

Update: I had to come back and tried the Chicken Mie Goreng (Fried Noodles) (Rp 35k) and fresh orange juice (Rp 15k). Once again amazed...

What a lovely new place to eat at Dini. View of the sea & Agung. Lovely wind or fans, so very comfortable to sit. In addition to the classic Beef Rendang and Nasi Campur, the new menu offers many great dishes, all freshly prepared and simply delicious.
