NARASA AUTHENTIC INDONESIA — Restaurant in Kecamatan Palu Timur

We booked a dinner for 33 guests (from four different countries) two days in advance. On the day of the event, four hours before the scheduled time, we informed the restaurant that the group had increased to 40 people. We specifically requested that all food be ready by 7:00 PM, and this was confirmed on the receipt.

Unfortunately, when we arrived on time, the food was not ready. The staff explained that they wanted to ensure everything was served hot, but even basic items like rice were not available for all guests—some were still waiting 20 minutes after 7 PM.

We had also submitted our drink order two hours before the event, but not all drinks were served, particularly the coconut-based drinks. We were told they had run out of coconuts, which was disappointing considering the early notice we gave.

The most frustrating part was that the vegetable dish with kecombrang and the squid dishes arrived 45 minutes late. Out of the five squid dishes we ordered, only two were served. We later found out the squid had sold out, but we were never informed.

Overall, the lack of preparation and communication was very disappointing, especially for a large group booking made with clear instructions and adequate notice. We left the restaurant...

Its brand new! Just open a week ago. My review based on my own experience. The concept of this restaurant is one stop dining, pastry, gelato and barber.

The interior is modern chic. Gotta be very cozy and instagtammable, but its way too crowded.

From 6 food I order only 1 menu is fail, Nasi uduk jakarta. I do complain I expect warm nasi uduk turn out the food already cold. And fyi, the nasi uduk you serve is far more like nasi liwet solo. Below my expectation.

Nice ambience, fully air conditioning, beautifully design with high ceilling, walaupun blm bisa sepenuhnya meredam riuhnya emak2 berceloteh gibahan dgn serunya.... layaknya Indonesian resto, convivial, familial type of... Different from others. Good job utk menyajikan masakan nusantara di Palu... namun mengenai authentique, blm sepenuhnya. Nasi uduk berasa bukan nasi uduk, kurang spice! (ga ada rasa sereh, salam dan laosnya)....tapi soto betawi, lumayan enak. Good portion... semua makanan datang masih hangat + for the soupy things ada burnernya jg jd bisa santap panas2... Pretty good taste...

Cake at their "Love & Butter" patisserie also quiet classy, i tasted 13 pcs of their small portion/slices one with 1 hot cappucino on the side... Well, hepppiiii deh to find yg kek gini di Palu, bisa ngobatin rindu makan sesuatu yg lain drpd masakan kaili atau traditional disini...tapi perbaiki rasa nasi uduk yaa...(teteuupp)...

Your WEAKNESS today: Ordered mineral water + the rocks(es batu), tapi makanan semua dtg duluan. Trus keselek bingung nanyain mn minumnya...kuah agak panas ga bs diseruput dongg, jd atur nafas.. Bartender, di bagian beverages, check properly billing yg nyampe di kelien or system kelien, cross check ya.. ini cuma air putih dan es batu loh ya...10 menit sendiri from ordered 1st....

Ada VIP ROOM-nya juga kalo kelien butuh butuh ruang private yg buat berame2...yaaa....
