Steak Dept — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

A few days ago, I was looking for a steakhouse to celebrate my birthday with my wife

Of course there were so many steakhouses to visit, but I was trying to find the best to suit my taste. At first, I had a doubt that the Steak Dept wouldn't satisfy my day, I would choose Justs at Alam Sutera or Tkyo Sk*pjack at Gading Serpong because of their reputations. But I already brace myself to try another steakhouse

There was a review that the steak was meltique, and then I have to make sure by messaging them via Instagram if the steak was meltique or not. They said it wasn't, but I was still not really sure. After a long consideration, I chose Steak Dept and was hoping not disappointing

The day has come, and the result was beyond my expectation. My wife ordered Sirloin 250g medium well and I ordered Chuck Steak 400g medium. And this is what she said:

🧕: "Wow, this is just amazing. I thought it would be bland. But this is a little bit better than Just*s. The texture is excellent"

The food they serve was beyond my expectation. All the staffs were friendly, and the atmosphere was great!

I'll be back again to taste another variant steak....

I had such a great dining experience at Steak Dept Gading Serpong! I ordered the sirloin steak and the 250g rib eye steak—both were really delicious and satisfying. The meat was flavorful and tender, and the black pepper sauce matched perfectly with the steak, enhancing the overall taste.

The meals also came with free-flow side dishes, which was such a nice bonus. I chose the green beans and baby potatoes, and both were tasty—I really enjoyed those two from today's available options.

For drinks, I had the ice choco frappe, and it was sweet, refreshing, and just right to balance the savory meal. The prices are very affordable for the quality of food you get, and the place is also clean and comfy.

What stood out to me too was the friendly and quick service from the staff. They kindly offered to get us more side dishes and were fast in clearing empty plates so the table didn’t get too crowded.

All in all, Steak Dept is a solid choice for anyone craving affordable, filling, and tasty steak in a clean setting. Can try this steak restaurant if you're around...

Pros: good variation of sides service is best as they are very friendly and trying to be helpful

Cons: definitely contain meltique even though the waiter said it’s not meltique side dish has bread pudding but does not have gravy (bread pudding must be accompanied with gravy or else it’s just bland) pricy for meltique steaks even though they have unlimited side dishes waiter does not know what the product was being served. We were told that spaghetti was in the side dishes but there wasn’t any. We were told that the steak wasn’t meltique but it contained meltique properties. It’s not good to ‘lie’ to the customers 😢
