Came here a week after it opens, they don’t really have much to offer even though it’s on the menu. Salmon isn’t available, Mussels are not available either. Hopefully they’ll become available soon since I really wanted to try those. Ordered Greek Salad but it’s definitely not the typical Greek Salad, more like a garden salad. The Grilled Peri Peri chicken was really great actually. My sister ordered the rib eye steak, a bit overpriced for the size and you don’t really get any sides with it. The deep fried oyster was good but pricy. The truffle fries was disappointing - soggy and oily. I wished they had made it shoestring fries instead. The mocktail was good, glad I ordered with with less syrup cause it was sweet even with half syrup. Refreshing though considering how hot Land’s End was during lunch time. The restaurant provides a lot of air-conditioning and fan for the indoor area but it was still quite warm inside. The service is a bit slow, took a while for the food to come out. Next time I’d loved to try their outdoor seating area, looks great by the beach. Price wise it’s on the higher end, doesn’t really reflect the quality of the food. Though, I guess you’re paying for the view.

Pier No. 12 Restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere and stunning views that make for an enjoyable dining experience. The scenic backdrop enhances the appeal, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The minimum charge feels a bit high, especially for just two people, which might discourage some from dining here. The food is decent, but the loud music significantly impacts the overall experience. It was often difficult to engage in conversation, and the noise level made it challenging for staff to hear us when we needed assistance. Although the staff were friendly and attentive when they could be reached, the volume of the music hindered effective communication. Despite these drawbacks, I found the overall vibe and ambiance appealing. I appreciate the restaurant's atmosphere and the effort of the staff. I would be willing to return, hoping for a more enjoyable experience with a better balance of music volume. With a few adjustments, Pier No. 12 has the potential to become a favorite spot for a memorable meal.

The decor and place is nice, they have a minimum spending for sitting outside which is quite high if you are just 2 people so we had to sit inside. The food is okay, nothing out of this world but also flavorful enough. However the service is bad, when we arrived someone greeted us but immediately ignored us to speak to the family that arrived behind us, then someone else appeared to take us to a table but also proceeded to ignore us to speak to a couple just getting inside, we were left just wandering around for a bit until we seated ourselves. At first the staff seemed to be on a staff meeting so we granted the initial bad service to that, but after that entered and 3X the staff scattered around our service was still deficient, we had to constantly look around and try to bring the attention of the servers, our main dishes came all at different times, we had all our dirty plates still when we asked for our desserts and so on. It’s a nice place aesthetically however the prices are quite high for such a deficient service.

I gave this experience 4 stars — here’s why:

Food: Honestly, the food was a little underwhelming, especially the calamari and other squid-based dishes. Expected better, especially from a place with this kind of beachfront appeal.

Service What saved the night? Rama and Ferdi. We first sat outside thinking it would be a nice beachside experience (white sand and all), but Jakarta’s mosquitoes and heavy cigarette smoke really ruined the vibe, especially for those with kids.

Rama, stationed outside, handled everything with professionalism, patience, and kindness. We had to change our seats not once, but twice — first because of mosquitoes, then because of the smoke. Despite what seemed like his superior giving him a hard time, Rama stood up for us, prioritized our comfort, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

On top of that, Rama even took the initiative to make a short, personalized video of our dining experience — like a professional videographer! It was such a thoughtful, unexpected gesture and really shows his passion for his work and for making guests feel special.

When we were moved indoors, Ferdi took over and provided equally amazing service — super attentive, warm, and consistently making sure our seafood was served fresh and to our liking. Ferdi’s care really helped turn the night around.

Atmosphere: The setup was great visually, but mosquitoes and smoke near kids? That’s something management should really address.

One final note: the attitude of (what I assume was) the manager could improve. We are reasonable, paying customers — not asking for special treatment, just for a comfortable dining experience. A little more empathy and professionalism would go a long way.

To Management: Rama and Ferdi are the reason this review is 4 stars, not 2. They are a credit to your establishment. If anyone deserves praise, promotion, or a raise, it’s these two. They truly understand hospitality.

Thank you again, Rama and Ferdi — you made a big...

We made reservation 3days before and specifically ask for a table with a good view as to celebrate our anniversary in Jakarta. I was hoping the customer service take note when there is such a special request. Because we don't fly all the way here for nothing. But to make memories.

However we get "fantastic view" where nothing can be seen, no view, nothing. Plus, some kids and the parents playing sand just next to our table, where we put the shoes. Like seriously? Why don't they play next to their table?🄲

Ruins our day because I look forward to enjoy my dinner here tho. Reviews said, this place similar to Bali Beach Club. Hmmm unfortunately nope. Been to real Bali Beach Club and spend more than what it costs here. We don't mind spending as long as the vibes and experience matched.

We waited more than 10-15 min but no one care to seem taking our order plus with the "fantastic view" experience is totally not recommended. One of the staffs did try his best for service recovery to get beter table for us. But his other colleague stopping us since there is another reservation for that table.

Tha is my review after spending less than 30mins being ignored and experience the vibes of so called beach bali club. Avoid if you don't wanna spoil your...
