Bebek Kaleyo, a name synonymous with crispy duck excellence since 2008, lived up to its illustrious reputation during my recent visit. The pièce de résistance, the fried duck, was indeed a culinary masterpiece. The skin crackled with an irresistible crispiness while the meat remained succulent and flavorful, a testament to the chef's mastery of the art of deep-frying. However, while the culinary experience was sublime, the overall impression was somewhat tempered by the service. Though not overtly unpleasant, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness one might expect from an establishment with such a renowned culinary pedigree. I recall an instance with my student, eager to delve into the culinary delights, where we had to patiently await the arrival of our beverages, a minor yet noticeable lapse in service that slightly marred the dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was, unfortunately, rather standard. While functional and clean, it lacked the distinctive character that could elevate the dining experience beyond mere sustenance. The absence of a mushola, a significant omission for many, further detracted from the overall appeal, particularly for Muslim patrons. In conclusion, Bebek Kaleyo remains a compelling destination for those seeking an authentic taste of Indonesia's celebrated fried duck. The culinary prowess of the chef is undeniable. However, the service and ambiance could benefit from a touch more refinement to truly complement the exceptional quality...

Worse place to go to, went to this place to have dinner with my brother but didn't get served even right after placed an order for 2 due to my brother was wearing Go-Jek jacket, 45 minutes later he try to inquirer bout the order we placed just to find out that they never bothered Made the order and turn around he head to re-order everything all over again. 10-20mins later after he placed for the second time we ended up with only 1 meal where we already told then for the second time that we wanted 2 meal for 2 persons. Never ever felt so discriminated in my lifetime just because i want to have a nice meal, very unprofesinal customer service and very poor moral. Never ever wanted to comeback here, beware of unpolite treatment. All staff should be retrain as it is so sad to find out this behavior still...

The fried duck has a distinct taste, combined with a nice plating. The restaurant also offers other menu such as fried chicken, fried rice, and traditional vegetables set (i.e. sayur lodeh, sayur asem, tempe, tahu, ati ampela). Additionally, we can choose varieties of rice such as nasi uduk or nasi merah. They also separate between smoking and non-smoking area to add more convenience. However, the spaces are on split level which put a more efforts to go up through stairs. But overall, the restaurant menu and the ambience is quite nice, with an ample parking space and non-cash...
