Seafood 27 — Restaurant in Kota Bekasi

ID: Saya makan disini sebetulnya karena asal tunjuk saja, karena kuranh familiar sama kuliner di daerah Jatiwaringin, dan ada mama saya juga disitu, dan mama itu preferensinya makanan yang kalo bukan Chinese ya Indonesia, jadi diantara McD, restoran Korea, dan restoran cepat saji lain di sekitarnya, saya nunjuk untuk makan disini saja. Jujur awalnya saya tertarik karena memang terlihat ramai, cuma ternyata zonk :(.

Mama sama Papa saya kemarin pesan Kuwe Saus Tiram, saya pesan Cumi Goreng Tepung dan Kangkung Seafood. Yang paling mending hanya Kangkung Seafoodnya saja, untuk Cumi Goreng Tepungnya overcooked, sehingga alot. Terus saya juga jadi tahu kalo cumi goreng tepungnya pasti bakal disukain sama penggemar tepung, soalnya perbandingan cumi dan kremesnya mungkin sekitar 1:8.

Untuk Kuwe Saus Tiramnya...nah ini. Sebagai catatan, di keluarga kami itu yang paling tidak bisa membedakan mana makanan yang enak dan tidak enak itu adalah Papa saya, tapi bahkan Papa saya juga ngerasa ini makanan kok aneh. Sampe sepanjang jalan kami pulang pun Papa saya masih bahas kenapa masakannya tidak enak, jadi itu dah sesuatu banget deh tuh. Sayang saya ga ikut menyicipi ikan Kuwenya, jadi saya pribadi tidak bisa konfirmasi.

Nah, karena saya tidak mencicipi salah satu hidangan yang kita pesan, terus kenapa saya sampe nekat kasi review cuma bintang 2? Karena HARGANYA yang overpriced :(. Tebakan kita sih karena sewanya yang mahal yah. Pokonya sih harga 170.500 untuk 3 orang (termasuk minum) untuk rasa yang ga spesial, itu mahal :(. Udah deh pengalaman aja ini mah. Kalo lagi di daerah situ, punya duit 50an ribu untuk seorang, mending cari yang lain.

I actually ate here because I wasn't familiar with the culinary delights in the Jatiwaringin area, so I just chose it randomly, and my mother was also with us, and my mother's preference for food is if it's not Chinese, it's Indonesian, so between McD, Korean restaurants, and other fast food restaurants around, I choose to eat here. To be honest, at first I was interested because it looked crowded, but it turned out to be zonkers :(.

My mom and dad yesterday ordered Kuwe Saus Tiram, I ordered Cumi Goreng Tepung and Kangkung Seafood. The best thing is just the Kangkung Seafood, for the Fried Squid it's overcooked, so it's tough to chew. Then I also came to know that the calamari would definitely be liked by flour fans, because the ratio of squid and flour is probably around 1:8.

For Kuwe Saus Tiram...well let me tell you about it. For the record, in our family the one who can't tell the difference between good and bad food is my father, but even my father also finds this food strange. Until we're on our way home, my father was still discussing why the food wasn't good, so that was already something strange really. It's a shame I didn't try the Kuwe fish, so I personally can't confirm it.

So, because I didn't taste one of the dishes we ordered, why did I even bother to give a review of only 2 stars? It is because the PRICE is overpriced :(. We're guessing it's because the rent is expensive. Anyway, the price is 170,500 for 3 people (including drinks) for a non-special taste, it's too much to spend :(. If I'm in the area, and have 50K for one person, better find another...

The best thing Jatiwaringin area but not worth the drive if you live somewhere else.

The food is okay. The cut were clean and so far I haven't anything that even slightly rotten. The taste, comparatively speaking, is alright, not the brightest but also slightly above average.

Service and atmosphere, okay, this place always packed to the brim. You either have to be a bit loud or keep reminding the waiter for any...

Love this seafood. Cheap, yummy. And my friend said it should be take a long time for the food. But yesterday i go there the food not coming but the people beside us who coming after us they got food first. So thats a little bit distrub. Hope only once like that but i'll re-buy to this place. But if the second still like that i'll say goodbye to the yummiest and cheapest...
