Situated at the Avenzel Hotel and Convention, The Zoetrope Sky Lounge offers fantastic views of the Mount Gede & Salak on one side and the Jakarta city skyline (if it wasn't for the fog). I have visited here a couple of times over the past few months in this fine dining establishment. And last night decided to try out the rib-eye steak, which is cooked medium (as I like it). Of course I paired it with the Corona Beer. I am absolutely in love with the ambiance at night, with the bar area in the middle, which is where I had my dinner. The location is absolutely photogenic, especially during sundown. Cons: Bread came before water...should be water before bread.
Ordered sousvide chicken which was very very very DRY, even worst than normally grilled/fried chicken. Mashed potato too much butter and spinach was too salty.
Told the waiter about my dry chicken, she apologized but didnt fix the problem.
My guest ordered wagyu steak which was tough, and fish and chips which we have seen better.
No soup in the menu...surprising for a restaurant serving western cuisine.
Price is high which is fine for this kind of setup. All of us 800k.
