Cafe La Pasion — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

My boyfriend and I ate here for breakfast about two weeks ago. We had been traveling in Bali for a couple of weeks until coming to Balangan. We both got the green smoothie bowl.

About 10-15 minutes after eating while we were both still sitting at the restaurant, we both started to feel very dizzy and lightheaded- so much so that I couldn’t get up from my chair without his help. We were sitting at the edge of the outdoor seating closest to the parking lot but I could barely make it to the steps of the parking lot because I felt like I was going to faint. I was dizzy, lightheaded, disoriented, and found it hard to stay standing or form a sentence. My body felt heavy and it was hard to move. I started to panic as it felt like I had taken some sort of substance or drank a large amount of alcohol which I had done neither of. My boyfriend was experiencing the same things. This disoriented feeling lasted for HOURS and we barely made it back to our air bnb safely. 3,5 weeks in Bali this restaurant was one of the best. No hidden charges (the variable government and serve charges on each restaurant). The music playlist was finally different and nice. The food really good (we ended here for breakfast and drove back for dinner) the atmosphere because of the nice Mexican style, really nice staff, nice to my young kids.

I went for the Sunday special - normally only do Indonesian food whilst in Indonesia - this was a steak+fries+salad+glass of wine. The steak and wine was surprisingly good (wine served at right temperature).

Ordered a second glass of wine (bit bigger glass this time) and enjoyed this a lot.

Weekends they have a live band plus they do movie nights.

I can highly recommend this place for a great evening.

For lunch, or breakfast, they also have a pool so you can bring your kids and have them swim while you enjoy the food and a drink.

The place is a bit 'next to the road' and doesn't have an amazing sunset view, but the food compensates for that...

I’ve ordered the Green Superpower which was really good and creamy :). My daughter got a ham and cheese sandwich and although I don't appreciate to much that type of the cheese that comes slides I did really appreciate what is the most important in a sandwich… the bread… very good brioche bred … I would pay more to have a better quality of cheese in this very very tasty bread 🙈. From Freakshakes, the Vulcano Rock very good if u want to forget about the calories that every shake comes with :))) … this one definitely will worth the extra gym day! The pizza was good… not your regular pizza dough (maybe because it’s a Mexican influenced restaurant) but still tasty and the fresh tomato side that we ordered separately… was a very good one … tasted like a tomato and not plastic :) Overall I would recommend this place , that also has a very nice island...
