Finally, the top italian home food we've been looking for on Bali. You should try carbonara here, it's the best (try to prove me wrong!). Pizza also is really nice, we tried one with mushrooms and asparagus, if I'm not mistaken, the dough itself is how it should be, so pizza is definitely to try if you visit. For myself, I have plans to try more variations of it:) I also really enjoyed twice breakfast opportunities here. The coffee from Mokka is nice, but Uova & Pancetta is so good you can feel the love in it (a must!). The atmosphere here is very cozy and comfortable, like you come to italian home house with tables in garden (with very cute dogs!) At the same time, me and my wife tried lasagna di Papa, I can't recommend that dish. And the service is slow and could be improved also in terms of attention (especially in the evening, the lady was not looking in our direction at all, I had to come to the counter to get some things done). Overall, 5 out of 5. Almost forgot, the red italian wine is really nice, don't forget...
Read moreIf you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, "Sa Domu" is the place for you. I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was truly impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. The service was flawless, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. The Italian cuisine here truly exceeds expectations: I tried the pizza, which was crispy and full of flavor, and the culurgiones, typical Sardinian dumplings, which were bursting with taste, fresh, and expertly made. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and casual, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The interior is well-decorated, creating a warm, family-friendly vibe, ideal for a night out with loved ones. As for the prices, they are absolutely justified by the quality of the food and service, making the overall experience very satisfying. I highly recommend "Sa Domu" to anyone wanting to enjoy high-quality Italian dishes in a cozy setting with excellent service. I can't...
Read moreI’m going to preface this by saying that we are an English couple and definitely not an expert in Italian cuisine. However, I’m going to say that if you’re like me, and you read reviews beforehand, you might see the occasional 1* review for Sa Domu- IGNORE THEM!
The staff were polite and attentive from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is lovely- it’s a quiet road with friendly dogs around and nice background music.
The food was a delight. We had the Bruschetta for starter which was lovely sourdough with fresh tomatoes and oils. For main we had the prosciutto & fungi pizza and the prawn tagliatelle. The pizza I couldn’t fault and the dough was crisp and lovely. The pasta was fine… not 100% to my taste.
If I may offer some feedback, I saw that the prawns were cooked quite a long time before the pasta was assembled so they were cold when the pasta came out. It just wasn’t my favourite dish ever but maybe that’s just my inexperience in Italian food!
Thanks for a lovely...
