Teraskota Coffee & Eatery - Jimbaran — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I visited Teraskota Coffee & Eatery earlier today and had a fairly pleasant experience overall. The food was decent not extraordinary, but enjoyable enough for a casual meal. The place itself is cozy and well laid-out, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a nice spot to hang out, either alone or with friends. It has potential to be a favorite go-to spot if a few things are improved.

One issue I encountered was at the cashier. When I tried to pay using QRIS, the staff seemed a bit unsure about how to operate the EDC machine. I noticed some confusion and a bit of panic, with the cashier walking back and forth trying to figure it out. It took a while, and although it wasn’t a huge deal, it did interrupt the flow of the experience. I assume the staff might still be in training, so I’m willing to be understanding but smoother handling of the payment process would definitely improve the overall customer experience.

Another suggestion I’d like to offer is regarding the menu design. Some of the menu items were not clearly visible either due to small font size, layout, or faded printing. It would be great if the menu could be updated or redesigned to make it easier for customers to...

belum sampai lima menit setelah sampai disana, saya bicara dalam hati "ah, it's just not my luck today" karena ternyata sedang mati listrik padahal saya kesana untuk cari wifi, kopi espresso dan ambience belajar yang bagus. tambah kecewa karena staf kasir bilang ga bisa menyediakan menu espresso karena coffee maker tidak bs digunakan akibat listrik padam. padahal saya jauh-jauh kesana buat coba menu espresso mereka. tapi apa boleh buat, it was out of their control. saya order kopi susu spice krn hanya itu menu kopi yg bisa disediakan (canned coffee) dan carrot cake. sejujurnya awalnya kurang yakin akan suka, karena rempah ditambah kopi apa rasanya? ternyata setelah seteguk, lidah saya menyukainya. carrot cake nya pun enak, adonan yg terasa "niat" dari tampilan dan rasa, cream diatasnya juga sama "niat"nya, dengan topping kacang yg sama sekali tidak pelit. 10 menit pertama saya duduk disana, seorang staf menghampiri dan bilang "kalau kepanasan mungkin boleh coba di outdoor area kita kak, karena AC ruangan tidak nyala" 15 menit kemudian dia datang lagi dan meletakkan kipas portable di meja saya sambil minta maaf karena suasana kafe yg menjadi kurang nyaman lalu menawarkan "mungkin kakaknya mau dibawakan air dingin?" sebenarnya saya sudah bawa tumbler air sendiri cuma saya sangat menghargai staf yg concern dan care thdp customernya jadi saya iyakan untuk air biasa saja para staff memerhatikan saya beberapa kali mungkin bingung kenapa saya tidak pergi seperti customer lainnya karena listrik mati dan tujuan ke kafe (wifi, working, study) tidak bisa terlaksana tapi karena saya malas pindah tempat dan karena disana kopi nya sudah cocok dengan lidah saya, jadi saya tetap anteng duduk meskipun tidak tahu kapan listrik akan nyala poin yg saya mau tekankan disini adalah, staf yang peduli terhadap kenyamanan customer dan berusaha untuk menutupi kekurangan yang terjadi dengan hal-hal yang bisa mereka lakukan ini kunjungan kedua saya, tapi saya sudah tahu bahwa saya akan kembali lagi kesana karena kopi, kenyamanan dan pelayanannya yang sepadan dengan harga. terimakasih banyak semoga tetap menjaga mutu...

The place is spacious and great for working. There were some promotions when I came and they also had 10% promotion for food and drink. I think they have some breakfast packages too. The only thing that confused me was the service, I had to write my order on their piece of paper and brought it to them by myself (they asked me to take it to the waiter instead of calling them to my table), while other customers had the waitress walked to their table and wrote down what they ordered. I'm not sure which one is their SOP but I was quite disappointed by that.
