Pondok Nelayan Lempasing is one of those hidden gems where the focus is clearly on what matters most: good food. The dishes here are rich in flavor—fresh seafood cooked with local spices that really bring out the taste of the sea. Whether it’s grilled fish, calamari, or prawns, each dish feels honest and well-prepared, like a meal made at home, but better.

One of the things I really appreciate is the affordable pricing. For the quality and portion of the food, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for both family outings and casual meals with friends. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try to impress with fancy decor, but lets the food do the talking.

Access-wise, it’s also quite friendly. The terrain is relatively flat and easy to navigate, especially for cars—no tricky uphill roads or steep turns, which is a plus if you’re bringing elderly family members or just want a hassle-free drive.

However, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of facilities, especially the toilets and overall sanitation. The number of toilets available is quite limited, and during busy hours, this becomes quite inconvenient. It’s something they could improve on to elevate the overall dining experience.

Despite that, I’d still recommend Pondok Nelayan Lempasing to anyone looking for flavorful seafood without breaking the bank. Just come with an appetite—and maybe don’t drink too...

It's all good and you can choose the seafood directly. The fishes and the shrimps are large, but they're all so good. They also serve some vegetables cooks. The sambal is good as well. It's coming from the person who doesn't like spicy hahaha,, but the service is slow and yeah because it was crowded. Even it took a long time to serve the drinks. One of the waiters wasn't so friendly, though. But it wasn't a big deal.

Some of the seafood unfortunately were not available like the squid and the scallop. Also the drinks like coconut ice wasn't available either.

The price of the food is kinda pricey, but it's all worth it.

The view is right besides the beautiful sea and we can also see a small island hundreds of meters away in the middle of the sea....

The food and the view are the best combo but I quite despise that near of the place have a lot of trash so it smells stink 😭😭😭 Nevertheless, it’s very recommended for up to 8 person so you can enjoy everything in AC room instead feeling hot outside. You need to reservation in advance because we are waiting kinda 45 minute ish but the fish, shrimp, and squid ARE SO PAID OFF. 😍❤️💣🔥Truly recommend their ASAM MANIS sauce because the taste is quite similar to Rumah Kayu but in friendly budget version. They can delivery your food to the private island while weekday but unfortunately we came during public holiday and the staff said they are lack of staff to send us...
