Restaurant Raffles — Restaurant in Megamendung

My family went there for lunch on the 27th of december 2017, everyone had to be admitted to the hospital due to bacterial stomach infection. I hope no one has to go through the same experience as we did, this restaurant has the same food cleanliness standards as a bloody WARTEG! DISGUSTING.

This was the most expensive indonesian lunch my family has ever had, spending 10+jt due to medical bills straight after eating there. We contracted amoeba, the worst parasite you can get in indonesia according to the doctor. Food was contaminated and possibly exposed in a dirty environment and surface for a number of days.

This restaurant should be closed down to prevent the possible infection of future customers! Sick restaurant! Never coming back here again, how dirty...

One of legendary restaurant located in Puncak, and quite close from the Jagorawi toll exit gate in Gadog. The foods have always been consistently good.. "Bubur Ayam Raffles" and "Pisang Goreng Uli" are my favorites. The restaurant is quite old, there are some parts of the building that needs to be rejuvenated, especially the wooden parts that is already flaking due to aging and some due to termites infestation, although I didn't see any safety concerns with this condition. To me, as long as the foods and services are good, I don't mind with the aging...

Doeloe termasuk resto yang terkenal disepanjang jalur puncak, walaupun letaknya masih agak dibawah. Almarhum papa mama mertua sering banget makan disini.

Doeloe tempatnya juga luas tapi sekarang mengecil jadi untuk kongkow makan ditempat tidak byk pilihan tempat untuk duduk.

Akhirnya kesini lagi buat makan siang bareng ortu temen anak saya setelah jam besuk siang camping akbar anak saya di D'Thanasha usai dan para ortu yang jenguk diusir paksa oleh pihak sekolah.

Pesan menu macem macem dan minum macem macem, sempat terjadi debat karena ortu temen saya ada pesan menu seekor ayam goreng kampung, tapi di konfirmasi oleh pelayan ayam kampung nya yang tersedia bentuk sudah potongan, tidak satu ekor. Oke tidak apa apa yang penting ayam kampung, nah pas menu datang terhidang yang digoreng potongan ayam broiler 🤦🏻😅

Untuk waktu tunggu sampai makanan datang semua terhidang lumayan lama ya... Pelayan nya juga ramah dan cekatan bolak balik ke meja saya menginformasikan beberapa menu yang dipesan ternyata tidak tersedia dan diganti menu menu lain yang tersedia. Tapi untuk rasa tetap enaaaak kok menurut saya 👍🏻👍🏻

Well sayang sekali resto legend ini kalau sampai tutup, kudu dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan lagi pelayanan nya biar...
