Space Coffee Roastery — Restaurant in Mlati

I'm not a big fan of coffee, but I do like sweet combination with syrup coffee drink, and Space Roastery's Geisha is one of the best coffee milk I've ever had. It taste really balance, sweet, maybe too sweet for some people but for me it's fine, and there is this scent flower-coffee. The price is 20K / bottle, I've taste other such as chocolate one but the best so far is Geisha. They have a slow bar as well. The place is spacious, they have indoor and outdoor. Indoor area consist of slow bar and shops which sell coffee beans and other mechs such as t shirt, coffee related stuff, etc, but has less sitting space compare to outdoor. Outdoor area has this big tree in the center, but sadly since it's smoking area, too much smokes and not that pleasant. Overall, I like the geisha coffee here, but for me the place is not work friendly since it's crowded and the chair and sofa except from the outdoor area is not work...

First i impressed with their Halu pink banana coffee when i'm in Karakter kopi, Bali. The smell of banana so strong. Then i bought their beans via online and do some little experiment. I let Halu pink banana and some other coffee brands for three days. I found only Halu pink banana who has consistent smell which is weird and other coffee getting thin smell. I have no idea whether is natural coffee smell or banana essence. Also when i visit their cafe in Jogja, no one staff talk with me about their coffee. Only one staff who answer my questions with short answer which is not comfort for me. The staff busy talking and laughing to each other. They really don't care about customer satisfaction and how to treat a customer. Unlike cafes in Bali. Don't waste your time and money here. Just find other 'warm'...

Best place to try multiple beans and various coffee menu. My all time ultimate favorite is Summer of ‘69, been drinkin it since idk when. When it comes to manual brew, V60 or Japanese, I loooove Halu Pink Banana and Strawberry Fields. Their Gayo(s) are rich but dont suit my preference. Tried their Freddo(s), my favorite is the Creamy Freddo, it’s a drink full of surprise. It has the depth of flavor that I seek in coffees served with milk. Place is not the most comfortable, but you can always suit yourself. Get a take out or find a table before ordering. I really hope they improve the comfort of the space, ‘cause I think it is the only thing they lack of. Good thing is, you dont need to worry about parking space, and their baristas are the best ones...
